  1. yep, that person got some things wrong.
  2. The 480 can crossfire. Usually freesync monitors are cheaper than g-sync monitors.
  3. r7 370 2gb https://au.pcpartpicker.com/part/msi-video-card-r73702gd5toc
  4. Where have you plugged in the pump and fan cables.
  5. Read the Guide to Display Cables, Adapters, and Converters. I'm pretty sure it can't as it can only use single-link DVI connection from what the guide says.
  6. There is still $40 to buy a windows key from reddit microsoft software swap.
  7. I believe he changed his budget to $1250.
  8. When playing csgo you will get 120+ at least. No idea about minecraft.
  9. What recording software are you going to use.
  10. http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/PTFdNG This should be good. Just threw in a case that looked decent. Didn't realise that the video card wouldn't fit properly, sorry. The case really doesn't matter that much, as long as everything fits.

  12. That's an odd issue. I have a h100i and do not have the same issue. Try reinstalling the software. Always worth try.
  13. If my calculations are correct 3 1080p monitors are about 6 million pixels and 4K is about 8 million. So 4gb is probably gonna be enough for most games. The 980, 980 ti and 390x are great options if they are in you're price range
  14. Thanks for your advice. I think i will get an aio. Most likely a Cooler Master Nepton 240m or h100i if i have the budget for it.
  15. Also my case is thermaltake core v51.
  16. Thanks for that. I looking for a quieter cooler but I was more worried about temps. I assumed mosts water coolers were quieter due to the fact that you can run them at lower RPM. My current overclock is 4.2Ghz on 1.235V. Could I get much further with an aio? If I do look for a better fan(s) for the 212x what would you recommend. Noctua?
  17. I currently have a Cooler Master Hyper 212X and I was wondering if it was worth the upgrade to get an aio. I want to get one to make the look of my system better but if I was to see little to no performance gain then I wouldn't consider the upgrade. My Cpu is a i5 4690k and my budget is $150 AUD so can you recommend an aio for that price. Thanks.
  18. Download MSI Afterburner and Unigine heaven. Start with the base clock and increase it a bit as well as the power limit, run Unigine heaven benchmark. If it passes repeat all steps until you start seeing some instabilities (artifacting, crashes, ect.) or run into thermal limits. Then do the same with memory clock. If you feel confident you can unlock voltage control to overclock further. I built my pc last month and I learnt how to overclock pretty quickly. It's not that hard once you get used to it. Also if you need a more in depth tutorial refer to this guide: http://www.maximumpc.com/how-overclock-your-graphics-card-2015/#page-2 This is where I learned most of my info from.
