for those who hate how much ram chrome takes up, I use this extension which put every tab that is not in use to sleep therefore conserving ram. I went from 1600MB usage for chrome to <600MB

    i dont trust chrome solely because it's a google product.

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

    Also me : Android is a good secure platform. ?‍♂️

    I've found it doesn't use any more than Firefox. Firefox has always been a hog for me.

    same here, ive got 16 gigs (8x2) , most of the time it's under 3gigs usage for my regular ass PC with mozilla running & cyberlink player on the back running some albums. best i had it was at running Starcraft2 which took up 6 gig max. i had to install ram disk one time to push the thing to the max usage scenario. Photoshop uses hdd space as scratch disks last time i used. so, memory is pretty much unaffected until it's time to export stuff. best i had it was with all of this running & it was still around 7 gigs & nothing beyond.

    "8x2" imagine running 8 2gb sticks of ram.
