  1. It's not even turning on. The CPU fan doesn't spin.
  2. Already tried switching slots, other RAM sticks, turning it on without any RAM.
  3. I already spent the money. Question is why is nothing turning on?
  4. Hello everyone, I built a mining rig, installed Windows 10 x64 and restarted. After that nothing was working. I unplugged everything and reseated the CPU+HSF(Celeron 3930 with stock heatsink),20+4 pin motherboard and 8 pin CPU power supply cables. There is a chip that gets hot when I try starting it. The PSU I'm using is BeQuiet Powerzone 1000W, which I have tested on my gaming PC and i'm sure it works. Also tried different power outlet. Here is a picture of the chip i'm talking about:
  5. I'm running it at stock speeds and i'm not really sure about the fan situation. This is the exact model, if you can something out of it: http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=5462#ov
  6. Lowest I've seen, while the room is chilly - 43C
  7. I just ran Unigine Valley. DX11, Ultra and 8x anti-alising @1080p. Temps with my fan curve were 60-61, but loud with the fans at 65%. With the default curve they ranged from 64 to 71.
  8. Well... problem is mine is crashing a bit after it gets over 70 I will do the Unigine Valley and upload in a few minutes
  9. Hello everyone! As the title says my Gigabyte R9 380X is overheating. First of all I want to point out it's running at stock speeds, I do have a custom fan curve, my drivers are always updated and I run dual AOC 24" 1080p monitors(and also planning to get a 29" ultra wide sometime in the future). The temp when idling is always at the 50's, the lowest I've is 48. Mainly I play WoW, I have it on custom ultra settings with anti-aliasing a bit turned down and also limited FPS to 60 because of my monitor and this gets it up to 60-65. GTA 5 with a lot of settings turned down to normal and some high, makes it go to 70+ and then my whole PC hangs. Also the fans are getting very loud at 60%+. Whole setup is as follows: MB: Gigabyte Z170-D3H CPU: Intel i7-6700K @ 4.4Ghz with Arctic Freezer i32 RAM: Kingston HyperX DDR4 16GB @ 2666Mhz HDD: WD Red - 1TB SSD: Samsung EVO 850 - 256GB PSU: Corsair RM650X Case: DeepCool Dukase with 4 Arctic F12 fans(1 intake, 3 exhaust) Here is my fan curve
  10. So I have built my second PC with the following components: Mobo: Gigabyte Z170 D3H CPU: i7 6700K overclocked to 4.5Ghz @ 1.32v Cooler: Arctic Freezer i32 RAM: Kingston HyperX DDR4 2666Mhz 16GB(2x8) Graphics: Gigabyte Radeon G1 Radeon R9 380xw overclocked to 1100Mhz with 1500MHz memory SSD: Samsung 850 Evo HDD: WD Red 1TB PSU: Corsair RM650x OS: Windows 8.1 It ran very smooth for a week. Did benchmarks on it, played a bit, did some programming. One day I come home from work and it just would'nt start... not even post. The fans were spinning, and the Graphics LED was on. I proceeded to remove the graphics card and It turned on no problem. Then I had lost my audio in windows... I reseted the CMOS and loaded the default settings in BIOS. Still the same. Reinstalled windows and the audio came back. I left it running overnight to stream a movie to my laptop and in the morning it was powered off. Now it won't turn on at all. No lights, no fans, no nothing. First I suspected it was the graphics card, then the mobo and now the psu. Which one do I return for a new one? EDIT: I'm running 2x24" 1080p monitors off of the GPU EDIT 2: I did the green wire test. Fan starts spinning for a few seconds and goes off. I also connected my case fans to the psu and they didn't go on. Does this mean my PSU is gone?
  11. Programming. It can be pretty intensive. Currently I have an AMD A10-6800K and it struggles alot
  12. I will be overclocking for sure, since i'm not getting this for gaming only and about the R9 390... I can't find it anywhere at local stores. It's like it doesn't exist. They got R9 380 and 390X, so I'm just settling for the GTX 970.
  13. What's wrong with it?
  14. What wattage should I be aiming for, considering I will be overclocking the CPU and GPU
  15. I'm buying from local stores
