  1. Just another question, will I need to upgrade my current modem if I upgrade my wireless router?
  2. Thanks! I will definitely try and go the Wireless AC route then, ethernet is what I would go for, however that is not an option for me.
  3. So I am looking to upgrade my current internet connection. I have 85 down and 6 up from Xfinity however my wireless N router seems to be capping the speed to 30 down and upload is fine. My options are either powerline or upgrading to wireless AC because ethernet is not an option for me. Which do you think is the best option, I need the higher speeds to host a server as well. My room is one floor up from the router.
  4. I think your right, the hard drive doesn't read any files. It is not even recognized in the BIOS. Along with that, it makes the clicking sound of death continuously. I decided to order an ssd as a replacement.
  5. An interesting thing happened. I tried swapping out the graphics card and found it wasn't the problem. I then swapped the power supple only to find that my hard drive had crashed.
  6. I tried what you said, it didn't seem to help my problem at all. I am going to try swapping it out with a different card and/or power supply and see if that helps.
  7. I tried this solution, and it didn't work. Frame rates stayed exactly the same with no increase in performance.
  8. Oh... I have not tried that yet, thanks for the possible solution. I will try that and see if it works.
  9. Thanks for the responses, I am going to play around a little bit with different power supplies and different graphics cards. My friend has an EVGA 960 4gb SSC so I can try that GPU and see whether it is a defected card or an insufficient power supply.
  10. How would I determine if my PSU is giving the GPU clean power or not? Should I try a different power supply?
  11. Even if the power supply is the problem, I have seen PC builds with smaller power supplies and similar graphics cards that run fine.
  12. Thanks for the response, I am thinking of replacing this card with a Gigabyte GTX 960 4 Gb. If the problem continues I will look for a different power supply.
  13. I agree, I'd say just leave it as is to avoid pulling hot air from the radiator into the system.
