  1. Hello all. I currently have a pg278qr and some 21" 1080p monitor from Acer. I'd like to upgrade the 21" to a 2nd 27" and I'd like to match brands. So I'm having trouble deciding between the pb278q or the pg279q. I play games on the 27" I already have, I'd be doing editing on the one I'm trying to get. Is the pg279q worth the extra dough, or should I just get the pb278q and save some money? Thanks for the advice.
  2. Hello all, I've had my pc for just under a year now and throughout this year I've had various OCs on my PC to figure out what works best. I have a 6850K with 64gb of 3000MHz ram, and a 1080ti, if that matters. I was reminded that AI Suite 3 had an OCer built into it and I decided to give it a shot. So I set everything to default, ran some benchmarks for a comparison afterward, and then set AI Suite 3 to OC for me using the per core setting. After running it, it set 5 of the cores to 40 and one of them to 44. I was wondering why? Is it just that that one core is way better than the others or did it just run weirdly? Thank you in advance!
  3. Thanks for all your replies! When I'm rendering the temps go between 85 to 90 and right now the voltage is at adaptive 1.5v, I think. I'm going to try everything you guys just said.
  4. I have a i7 4770K being cooled by H100i. I figured this would be enough to handle the pressure of rendering most things, but I'm having trouble rendering videos in Adobe software and rendering images from a 3D modeling software, as well. Right now I have the fans placed on top of the radiator blowing down from the ceiling of the tower, but I used to have the fans flipped so they were blowing up. This change didn't seem to affect the temps at all. I have a total of 6 fans in the tower including the ones on the h100i. Right now only the back fan is exhaust. My h100i fans were exhaust until I flipped them. Here are a couple pics of my rig that show the direction of each fan. http://imgur.com/a/NvIp8 What is the issue with these temp? Is it the way it's set up? Could my cooler be defective? Could it be that the CPU isn't getting enough voltage? Or is this set up just not powerful enough? I appreciate any and all input! Thanks!
