My dad isn't much of a fan of fancy tech, he just likes the essentials and if it's simple and it works fine, then it's alright for him. Every week or so when we go out shopping such as in Costco, we would always go down the music area and check out the headsets and speakers to see whether or not they are on sale and affordable. He's a fan of music and Bose but never actually had a pair of his own to listen to something he loves. At the moment he's just using an old pair of Apple earbuds, which he finds uncomfortable at times. The situation were is kind of complicated, he just got back on his feet after losing his job recently and is only making enough money for the essentials at the moment. To repay him for what he has provided for our family, I would love to gift him something special that will for sure be used by him every single day and enjoy every bit of it. I'm not a guy that would typically say "I love you" to my parents but I do love them but I don't know how to express it or show it. This is something I have never done before and if it follows through, it will be a great suprise and something he would never expect me to do. It will be the highlight of my year, possiblely life, to give back to someone that's given me so much already.
