  1. This is my top choice for this moment. Seems to have everything I need.
  2. I'm reading reviews of those laptops and it seems like they all are either too big and heavy or too hot and loud. Isn't there anything in between? Razer blade looks sexy but it's very expensive and I guess it'd run hot and loud as Macbook. Will it be quiet if you run something light on that 970m?
  3. Hey! I'm using Macbook pro right now, but I really dislike its hot temperatures/loud fans, and bad performance in games. I'm looking into Windows laptop market. I'm playing League and The Elder Scrolls online when I have some time outside of the home. As well I use a lot of 1080p streaming. I really want laptop to stay as cool and quiet as possible. I don't mind playing games on lowest settings. I just want it to be stable. What could you recommend? What are you using? I found MSI GS70 Stealth very pretty. Thanks in advance!
  4. I find pretty those to blocks atm 1,2. Still researching the best solution. Just watched Linus' video about this topic.
  5. Oh, I thought you're talking about the post Not sure if anything is wrong with this card. This temps goes with last AAA games like Witcher 3/Rise of the Tomb Raider. Those games are pretty demanding. I think this stock cooler just can't do better. It works fine with games like League, with temps around 50c.
  6. Hey! I'm thinking about upgrading my reference 980ti stock cooling with something better, and overclock it eventually. I'm still doing some research how to do it properly. I really don't want to damage anything. I've never done anything like this before. I built my first PC two months ago. Currently my GPU goes up to 83c in almost every game. I have to disable so many features to get decent 60fps at 1440p. I hope OC will give me more room for tweaking. All I'm asking is to share your experience with me. Any legit sources are highly appreciated. Thank you! * This GPU sits in this rig.
  7. Thanks This whole building plan wouldn't have happened in the first place, if I haven't bought best looking SSD on the market which perfectly didn't work in my system.
  8. I got my 980ti this summer, so I can't really change it now. I knew much less about PCs, before I started my research to build my own.
  9. Hey there! This Christmas I'm building my PC for the first time. It's finally time to leave pre-build prison Here's hardware I'm getting. (Please share your opinion about overall build, TYVM) MOBO: MSI X99A CPU: 5820K covered by Corsair H110i GTX RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (4x4GB) DDR4 2666MHz (still not sure, is there a better option?) Storage: 1# Intel 750 SSD 400g, #2 2TB HDD from pre-build PC GPU: Single GXT 980Ti from Gigabyte (Standard Nvidia model) PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA G2 750W Case: Everything inside Corsair C70 My main fear is overclocking. I've heard a lot of rumors that your CPU might easily die, if you even touch its clock speed. I was planning to overclock it up to 4.5ghz setting its voltage to 1.3V(If H110i cools cpu well enough). As Linus showed in his X99 overclocking guide. * I'm spending couple hours a day in Guild Wars 2, where I have significant FPS drops in crowded places, already having 980Ti installed. It's where I was recommended to boost my CPU speed.
