  1. I'm not worried about the length of the card, I know it'll fit into the evolv itx, it's just the actual height of the card with the backplate hitting the io cover on the front of the mobo. I was also considering the asus z170i pro gaming, the only reason I'm not sure is the red accents, because I'm doing a blue color scheme with my build. Do you have any recommendations for a good z170 mitx board?
  2. I'm working on doing a big upgrade to my pc: I'm currently using a fractal define r5 with an evga gtx 970, i5-4690k, as well as other stuff, but most of it will be replaced in this update. I want to go mITX and I'm planning on getting the Phanteks evolv itx. For mobo and graphics card, I'm looking at the evga z170 stinger (I'm planning on getting a 6600k or 6700k) and a gigabyte g1 gaming 1070. I want the stinger mobo because it just looks good and has good reviews, and I like that io cover. I don't really care that it doesn't have an M.2 slot because I already have a 250gb 850 evo and getting a more expensive M.2 for even better speeds aren't really worth it to me. I'm thinking the g1 gaming 1070 because it's one of the cheaper 1070's, and it also has rgb lighting, which is a big feature for me, especially because the evolv itx has a window, unlike my R5. I've heard that there can be some clearance issues with the io cover on the front of the motherboard (if you don't know what I'm talking about here's a picture) and backplates on gpus. I was wondering if before I drop $430 on that 1070 if anyone could tell me if that specific gpu or another gpu with a backplate fits, and by how much. Any help or suggestions are great, thanks!
  3. I want the Excalibur v2 keyboard because right now I'm using a $10 keyboard off amazon with jam stuck in the f7 and f8 keys, and if I press more than 5 keys at the same time, the whole keyboard stops working and I have to unplug it and plug it back in. Not particularly useful in the middle of a firefight.
  4. Specs: i5-4690k with stock cooler 750 ti windforce ASRock z97 anniversary atx motherboard 8gb ddr3-1600 ram samsung 850 evo ssd and wd blue hard drive Corsair cx430m power supply windows 10 I haven't overclocked anything before, and I recently tried to overclock my 750 ti, and it was going well until I tried running 3D mark fire strike, and my score was 3127. A couple weeks ago when I last ran it I got a 4084. I looked at the details, and my graphics score was higher, but the physics score was wayyy lower than it was before. So I tried cinebench, and my score was way lower than before too. I ran cinebench a while ago and got a 544 on the cpu test, and now I'm getting around 110 from several tests. I opened task manager to see if anything weird was going on, and while running cinebench, my cpu utilization was maxing out at 22%. I turned off of my overclock and set all the settings back to default, then I restarted my computer and tried cinebench again, and nothing changed. I wondered if maybe the cpu was thermal throttling for some reason, but my temps were staying in the mid 30's. What's causing my cpu to run like that and how can I fix it? Thanks for any help.
