Firstly, the maximus vi gene is on discount here.
Second, i will choose i5 6500 instead of i5 6400
Third, the fm2+ is a budget build so dont expect any shit out of it..

So, I recently bought a HP laptop running on an AMD A10-7300 with a Dual Graphics of Radeon R6. So I was wondering whether I can switch the primary gpu to the R6 instead of the onboard APU. THX
I need a new Gaming computer used for playing Dota 2, CS:GO and a bunch of other games. My budget is $600 for the PROCESSOR,MOTHERBOARD,RAM,GRAPHICS CARD. other parts i will use from my old machines. THX
I have been wondering whether i should get an amd x4-860k or a10-7870k for my new gaming pc, i will add a dedicated graphics card which is an asus r7 250, is the dual graphics setup worth it? my current laptop runs on a dual graphics and i dont really see any flaws for gaming. Or should i get an AM3+ socket cpu? Suggestions are appreciated. thx
Hey, just wondering whether i should get the MSI A88XI AC V2 with a Bitfenix Prodigy case or the ASUS Crossblade Ranger with the Bitfenix Neos. I prefer the ASUS over the MSI but is the 'ROG' feature really worth it?
Cpu cooler fan should be facing forward.. And 60 under Minecraft? Seriously??? I have a PC I used to use before I got mine it was a Pentium G3020 and it does not even reach 60 just by running minecraft...
I used to have almost the same specs as your computer (mine is i3 4160, MSI B85I Gaming, Crsair Vengeance 4x2Gb RAM) and the idle temp is usually around 36-42 degrees so I think it is normal
For a build which uses unlocked processor and that budget, I suggest you use a watercooling so if he wants to overclock he could do so.. Also for a build like this, I think the RAM can be upgraded to 16gb and also increase the size of the SSD. I mean he still has a lot of space in his budget...
