  1. Judging by the line java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: li/cil/oc/api/driver/DriverBlock its related to the OC Aka Open Computers API, I don't see OC itself, so try removing tinkersoc and see if it still crashes.
  2. They can stand on their morals all they want but the reality is Google doesn't care, the only thing that would make them cancel the project is their stock price. All these people have done is put themselves out of a job which will be taken by a less morally opinionated person extremely quickly.
  3. I saw 2 creators post videos against it, SidAlpha and Gopher, they both received messages from people who were canceling due to the changes and both were against it due to it simply making it more difficult for the patrons, instead of a $5 pledge just being $5, it was $5+0.35+2.9%, people shouldn't have to use a calculator for an optional way to support a creator.
  4. Honestly I see no issues with what has been shown at this point. My only real potential issues are, how good the QA and Application processes will be, and the cut the modders get. I honestly find it amusing with how many people are against the concept of paid modding, even though if properly implemented would bring higher quality content (In some cases higher quality than vanilla content(Look at Millenia on Nexus)), and further prolong the life of these games by allowing Teams to form and create large scale DLC/Expansion like content knowing they will have some form of compensation (Outside of inconsistent and unreliable donation systems). Personally I look forward to seeing what happens, and as long as the modders get a fair (and majority) cut, and it doesn't get flooded with low quality and overpriced content, I think it will allow people who would otherwise completely ignore using their skills as 3d modelers, coders, etc, for modding to provide interesting and new experiences.
  5. If your unwilling to back up a statement without at the very least a single link by an even somewhat reputable source, then don't claim something has been proven by scientific data.
  6. Can we get a "Why did you post this in the wrong section?" option.
  7. Again your missing my point, slides mean nothing, I was correcting what you said, he never said 2x Faster than 980 in VR, he said 2x Faster than Titan X. No mention of VR, if I'm wrong get me a timestamp where its stated 2X Faster than a Titan X IN VR and I will admit being wrong. My point again I will re-itterate is wait for reviews, none of the slides matter AT ALL.
  8. See I can link things to! Again, I said wait for benchmarks, I've only stated what was SAID, I didn't say these numbers are actual performance I only said it was stated as 2x faster than the titan X. Did you actually watch, if you didn't go watch and listen to what was said outside of the slides. It doesn't matter anyways, like I said, wait. for. reviews. then we will get the real numbers.
  9. You can't base anything off of a graph, only real solid numbers, which will come out when reviews have cards in hand and aren't restricted by NDA. Also he stated "2x Faster than a Titan X" not "2x Faster than a Titan X in VR", so I don't know where you got the only VR aspect of it but that was never stated. And again, graphs are never properly accurate, without exact numbers a graph isn't a valid thing to base an argument off of.
  10. 2x Faster than a Titan X, not a 980, and he never specified VR either, VR was covered in the stream but the 2x is not only VR. It doesn't matter anyways, just like anything have to wait for real benchmarks.
  11. https://www.twitch.tv/nvidia/v/64989878 about 1:39:50 "Faster than a Titan X" Right before he says the MSRP.
  12. The nexus is not 90% porn, Dark0ne stated that those types of mods make up less than 5% of all the mods on the nexus. In case you don't know Dark0ne AKA Robin is the owner of the site. So instead of throwing around fake numbers without any sources, learn to use the filters on the nexus and enjoy the massive amount of free, easily accessible content. 13. It's not that I'm shitting on them, its that I don't blindly agree with everything they do and I call out the things they do wrong because I know they can do better. It is their job to add things to the game, but more importantly to not lose what they are every time they make a new game, modders already had to make mods like Full Dialogue Interface to give us the dialogue menu that has been in Bethesda games for years, Item sorting and UI mods to make the inventory and shops navigable something that was less of an issue in previous games, mannequins which were default in Skyrim. Features like ammo types ammo crafting etc from New Vegas being completely missing having been added in via mods without proper tools within a few weeks or months. Not to mention yet again a game filled with random bugs and discrepancies modders fix within a few weeks but Bethesda has yet to push an official patch to fix. I do agree with you to some extent they can't put everything in, nor should they, Bethesda is known for making a game that has a lot of Potential to be modded, but that doesn't mean that their game being moddable should ever be an excuse for things being half-assed. No not really, nor do I expect them to do all the tweaks modders would because a *lot* of them tend to be used by very few people, but I would settle for a CK released in a timely fashion so modders can do it sooner, instead of waiting 5-6Months.
  14. Half of the stuff modders have already done without the CK are better than what Beth can do in my opinion.
  15. Why is this in Tech news? Is anything that happens on twitter now tech news?
