  1. I've been trying to troubleshoot this for the past couple of hours now and have gotten nowhere with this. I recently got an Intel X520-DA1 10GbE networking card to add to my computer. My motherboard (Asus TUF Gaming Z690-PLUS Wifi D4) has 2 PCIEx16 slots. I had my HBA card plugged into the bottom slot and I plugged my network card into the top slot. The lights on the back of the networking card lit up when I first plugged it in, but then I took it back out to reseat the card. After reseating the card, the lights no longer lit up. After booting into Unraid, I ran lspci and found that it was not detecting the networking card. I removed the card and moved the HBA card up to the top slot to verify that the PCIE slot still works. The HBA card worked just fine in the top slot and when I plugged the networking card into the bottom slot, it again did not light up. I plugged the networking card into a free slot that I had in my gaming computer and it lit up without any issue. It seems like my motherboard is disabling the second x16 slot when the other is in use, but I'm not sure why. I have 2 m.2 ssds installed as well.
  2. That's interesting that you would encounter a driver error at that point in the install. I'm wondering if your motherboard is failing considering that you have already tried a different GPU in your pc and you end up with the same result. Is your motherboard still under warranty?
  3. Ah, okay. I see what you mean. I was confused after reading your initial post and I wasn't sure if I was missing something, so I wanted to clarify haha. Good point on using OBS to test though.
  4. To clarify, you got it to POST before you installed everything into the case?
  5. Are you talking about corsair vengeance? Corsair is a very reputable brand for RAM...
  6. Is that the voltage of the GPU? What program are you seeing that in?
  7. 2) He mentioned that the camera works without any issues in the native camera app, so I'm not sure how this would be a power issue? In the camera app, can you go to settings and verify the resolution that the laptop is running the camera at?
  8. Try running it in that slot for a bit to see if you still have issues with the black screens.
  9. Unless the board that you purchase has been sitting on a shelf for a very long time, then you should be fine. I purchased a 5700x and a B550 board about 5 months ago and it worked right out of the box.
  10. Spec wise, they are very similar albeit the Asrock board has more sata ports, but one less m.2 slot. The Asus board has more power phases, but if you're not overclocking a lot, then that isn't really a big deal. I personally have that exact Asus board and I was very impressed with how well built the board was compared to other boards that I've purchased in the past.
  11. Can you try the other PCIE slot on the motherboard?
  12. That corsair PSU has a warranty period of 7 years assuming that it was bought new. You could try RMAing it if you want to use that same type of PSU again.
  13. Yeah, np. Report back on this thread if you run into issues again with this.
