    I really enjoy how heavy the MXM3s, if it had 10 side buttons on it that would be amazing, alas it doesn't appear Logitech makes such a product. I also need the mouse to not require any special driverware (Linux user), I don't want to macro these buttons to anything, I just need them to appear in my games as Mouse5, Mouse7 etc. Any recommendations?

    Very nice. Very compact. How loud is that and do you do any LLM inferencing on it? What kind of sustained temp can you hit?

    Thanks, I appreciate that. But I don't have the length in my case to strap on one of those blower type units. I'd rather just use some 92mm fans on the side of it, or better yet would be 120s. I have a 3d printer and am crafty and will come up with something but I'm just curious if anyone has already done this with a p40.

    I understand that, but the K80 seems to be able to be cooled just fine with some small fans strapped to the side of it.

    Anyone here managed to de-shroud one of these things and then attach fans to the heat sink? If so, would you mind sharing with me how you opened up the heat sink?

    Mostly just casual use, but I also want something with a full keyboard for programming. The pointing stick is great as well, but I know that HP and Dell have those as well and it's not exclusive Lenovo thing.

    I would like to keep it $550 or less. Newegg has some offers that meet this price point. I haven't purchased from Ebay in a long time, how do returns work with Ebay? Must be unique to each seller?

    I'm in the market for an older thinkpad (8th gen intel or higher) or something equivalent. My usual go to's are Newegg or Amazon but figured there must be many sellers in Canada selling off-lease notebooks and I'm looking for recommendations.

    Monitor mount doesn't matter, I already have wall mounts for it. As long as it's vesa 75 or 100 it should fit nice. I think I will buy 2 or 3 of them. I do intend to get back into gaming, so the higher refresh rate is a must for me. I am tempted by these cheap Pixio screens but I have no experience with that brand. Thanks in advance!

    I've been trying to find some and the only ones listed on ca.pcpartpicker are crazy expensive. I can't believe how common this style of case used to be and now it's like difficult to find lol. Any suggestions?

    500GB OS, 2TB Working Storage, Games etc. That way the OS disk can be wiped completely and it doesn't affect any of the files. The goal was speed, hence NVME.

    I was hoping to get it all from one etailer (amazon) but now I see that the 12600non-k is $300 so $80~ savings. Probably worth spreading the budget around.

    If one doesn't plan to overclock (other than XMP) and only has two drives, what is to be gained by spending more on the motherboard? It's a pretty simple setup and the only reason for the k-series CPU is that for some weird reason it's cheaper than a non-k.
