could it be the fast startup? it never shutdown by itself. But every other night, around 9:15, it will startup. i do power cfg -lastwake, and it doesn't say anything

my pc turns on randomly. i have checked powercfg-returns nothing. turned off mouse, keyboard, wake on lan power settings. wake timers off. please help.

So i have a red pc with red fans and red leds. and i am currently looking at a razer blackwidow ultimate. so the colors of my setup will be red and green, which is like christmas. should i do this or not?

A 450 watt for a 970!! ya right! that might be enough for the gpu only, not cpu, gpu, mobo etc..

This has been going on for a while. i'll come home and find my computer in sleep mode. ive done everything. use powercfg -lastwake and it shows nothing, turn off all devices that can turn on pc, turn off all wake timers. just built a pc but the wall to pc to monitor to keyboard etc.. were all too long. so what i did was coil them up. not in a circle but I held out a flat hand and wrapped them around, then zip tied the middle. when i did this with the 3rd cor, i heard a very bad sound like the cord inside was tearing (keyboard cord) now i want to coil them in a circle. but the cords are all kinked up now, will unkinking them tear the cords like bending metal back and forth? if i DO damage the cord. will it cxause a performance deecrease?

if i minimize gta 5 while playing, (for instance, im driving aroound and i click minimize), will that count as idle? since it is only minimized... idk

gta 5 takes about 3 minutes to open every time. what would an ssd time be?

would my pc pieces wear out if i ran a game 12 hours a day? i want to leave for an hour and come back without slow game boot times...

how could i calculate the cost?

So i have a new pc. i3 4460 cpu r9 380 gpu 8gb ram seasonic s1112 (something like that) 420 watt I play gta 5 a LOT and was wondering since it take 5 minutes to get computer on and game up(about 5 times a day), is it ok to just leave gta 5 running? could i minimize it somehow? turn monitor off? thanks

i tthink i figured it out. i read on windows forum that after doing all this stuuf there is an option for whether mouse, keyboard could wake computer. they were checked and since i needed to update mouse, it kept turning it on

i realize i had a mouse update. i updated that. also i am reading that a wifi (which i have) could be set to wake computer up
