  1. I'VE MADE IT WORK. There is a list all modes button, and set it to 1440p 60fps
  2. I am unable to change anything on that picture and it's completely missing the option for me to change the resolution and refresh rate like in this video below. I did a clean install , used display driver uninstaller just in case.
  3. Like it said I'm running at 2560x1440 and it worked perfectly on Win 8.1 Every resolution that is not 640x480 runs at 30 fps
  4. I've installed Windows 10, and I can't seem to get my monitor to run to 60 fps. I've reinstalled the drivers multiple times, when I change on the display adapter properties the Screen refresh rate from 59 Hertz to 60 Hertz it turns back to 640x480 and it runs at 60 fps, but if I change it to any other resolution, it reverts back to 30 fps. I've updated my Monitor drivers also. AMD Crimson is missing the options to change the refresh rate or resolution, and it won't allow me to create a custom resolution. Edit: I am currently running it 2560x1440p until my GTX 1080 arives. And also it worked perfectly on Win 8.1 few days ago. http://i.imgur.com/3ivT3Yk.png
  5. My friend brought over a his .ISO and I've installed it through a USB 2.0 port this time. It seems like it's running fine for now.
  6. I've installed the newest motherboard firmware when I got the mobo for better RAM compitability. I don't have a hard time installing, just using windows.
  7. 4 2.0 Type A ports on the back. MSI B350m Bazooka is the mobo.
  8. My mouse and and keyboard are plugged in the back so I'm guessing they are USB 3.0
  9. I did a complete new install, twice. Windows 10 Home edition.
  10. I've reinstalled windows twice, and formatted my SSD completely (I'll have to redownload my steam games )
  11. I've upgraded my PC from Q6600 to a Ryzen 1600. When I upgraded, I used the same Win 8.1 that was on my SSD and the PC ran perfect for a week. I even played with overclocking and managed to get it stable, but because there was no way I could control or see my temps on Win 8.1 I've decided to upgrade to Windows 10, so I could use AMD Ryzen Master. It works like a night mare, it freezes non stop, completely randomly, I've reverted to the stock speeds. I've set the power options to high performance, disabled that my SSD falls asleep every 20 minutes, and followed most tutorials on the freezing issues. I've checked the RAM , it is fine. Temps are fine (using a Noctua cooler, 33c idle). Any suggestions? It is also running slow, the mouse cursor moved perfectly on Win 8.1, now it seems like its 30fps. I will post more info later, it literally froze two times while I was writing this post.
  12. Thank you guys for the input. I knew the 6600k is the more 'sane' choice, but having an extreme type CPU in your system is sexy as fuck . Basically I wanted style points, lol And no one sells a Xeon e3 1240v3 in my country, used on the web or in the store. I have the money to buy it now but by the time I buy a new rig (not in a hurry), both Kaby Lake and AMD Zen will come out so I'd probably wait.
  13. So I have an opportunity to buy a new 3960x for 200 euros. A new 6600k in my country is around 240-250 euros. I can also get an X79 motherboard for the same price of a Z170 motherboard. Now I know that a 6600k has better single core performance and it will give an extra few FPS in games, but there is something exotic about owning and using a 3960x. I also edit videos sometimes, but not on a daily basis. I'm currently on a Q6600 and I know any of these 2 options would be a HUGE upgrade. So what's your opinion on what I should do?
  14. 1. I want an SSD because I need one for my Steam Library and everyone should have one for DEM boot times!
