  1. I have a full sized Torrent and the temps are great. I had a TUF 3080 12GB and it didn't go above 76° at 60% fan speed (stock), and not above 65° (under-volt). Depending on your ambient temperatures, a case switch may benefit you. I work from a small room with minimal air conditioning and I still get these temps. I'd definitively recommend the Torrent if you can afford it and/or find it available. Also worth noting, my case fans max out at 35% fan speed so that they aren't noisy, so if you can handle more noise you'd get even better results.
  2. Nope, just a single cable coming from my switch, about 1m. It used to work until recently without issues. I'll just RMA it, since it's still in warranty.
  3. I have a Mercusys MR70X router. I've had it for less than a year, the speeds are amazing for what I've paid for it, but it recently started crashing when ever I'd put any load on it. I still have warranty on it, but should I RMA it or should I return it for cash and get the Archer AX10 instead, for only 10€ more. (It's really only used an as wifi access point and I don't feel the need to have a premium router to do its job) To clarify, I've attempted a factory reset and firmware update already. Also, the router is running in AP mode (since it's only for WiFi).
  4. That's a good suggestion. But it seems I've fixed it by reducing the core clock by 50MHz and the memory clock by 100Mhz. Just played a whole game of csgo uninterrupted.
  5. It was used in a family pc, but no real appart from a 4k youtube video/movie was put on it and it worked completely fine.
  6. Hey, so I have a temporary gtx 660ti untill my 3080 arrives, which will hopefullly be soon. The card just crashes, I launch csgo and it runs pretty good but then after like 5min the screens just go black and the pc reboots. I have 2 seperate PCIE cables connected, I've re applied the thermal compound, I've clean installed the driver with DDU, I've adjusted the fan speeds and monitored temps (it never goes above 70°c before a crash, I use HWInfo to monitor temps on the 2nd monitor). Anyone know what could be the issue? My PSU is a HX1000, a week old and had no problems running an overclocked gtx 1080 before I swapped it for a 660ti. There are also no logs in event viewer. Any guesses?
  7. I don't own any of these but I do own a Gigabyte gtx 1080 and all I can say is: don't buy Gigabyte. In this case I'd get the MSI, but if you can, get a strix or something else of higher quality.
  8. https://ncc.noctua.at/cases/model/Fractal-Design-Torrent-Compact-4118 From their official site. I was also confused by this, hence why I asked here. Do some motherboards have the cpu socket way up? I thought the ATX boards follow that standard.
  9. On the compatibility page it says it will fit depending on motherboard. I have a Strix x470-f, does anyone with a similar board own a compact? In term of heights, it should fit, even with the raised fan (RAM is g.skill trident z). I'll switch out my aio for a D15 and will most likely get a new case when I get a new gpu and the compact just seems like such a great case, I just hope a D15 will fit. Thanks
  10. You're right on that front! I was actually thinking of switching to a D15 anyway. I might just do that.
  11. I'm running a 280mm AIO in the front, I can't mount it on top and I can't move the fans.
  12. Hey, I have a Meshify C and am currently happy with it, but soon i'll most likely pick up a new graphics card and will most likely need a bigger case. I want a case that's still semi compact like my meshify, but one that could fit a 3080/4080. First of all, my current setup: I'm running a 280mm H115i mounted in the front and a Gigabyte g1 1080 with an 120mm aio. The card BARELY fits, i can almost squeeze a finger in between the gpu and the fans in the front. I have semi limited desk space, so I'd rather keep it compact. I was thinking of getting the o11 mini, but i'd need to get one of those smaller PSUs. I've been out of the loop with cases ever since I've bought my Meshify and there have been like 5 revisions since then, would any fit my use case? Any other suggestions are welcome! Thanks.
  13. Yeah, I ordered an extra pair of my old ram. Actually played around with OCing and got it to 3600mhz no problem, with solid timings. So it's a win win i guess
  14. Can you link any? Preferably an EU site. I've been searching and they're not that much cheaper.
  15. Hey, I'll make this short, I need to double my ram from 16gb to 32gb for work, but I'm undecided which ram to buy. I currently have this kit 16gb 3200mhz cl16 from g.skill and can get the same kit (which would result in 4x8gb 32gb 3200mhz cl16) for 90€. I'm also tempted to get a brand new kit of 32gb 3600mhz cl16 (this one) which comes in 2x16gb sticks. It costs 250€ but it's supposedly b-die and has better timings and frequency. Also, if you have any suggestions for the same type of memory, but with better value, suggestions are welcome. Is it worth buying new ram right now? I'm probably not going to switch to Ryzen 6000 but will instead upgrade my 3700x to a 5900x in a few months (that's why I want better memory), so I most likely won't migrate to a DDR5 platform anytime soon. I mainly use the machine for work (devops and dabbing my feet in machine learning) and gaming (1440p). All the feedback is appreciated!
