  1. ok. If you hate AMD there is no need to tell me that. I like when people bring as their best argument "you have shitty ****" My brother has THE SAME CPU and GPU and his games run smoothly. In addition I said that CPU is NOT under 100% load. plz read this couple of times to understand TEVERYTHING i just said.
  2. It's not only the arma 3 problem. the same with all the games

  4. So. I build my first PC for gaming. But some games run slower then they should be. specs:GPU- R9 390CPU- FX-8350MOBO- MSI 970 GAMINGRAM- 8 GB G. SKULL 2133PSU- Corsair CX550mOC- Win 8.1Sometimes the game like Arma 3 would freeze for couple of seconds. The most interesting part is that it doesn't matter how low my settings are they still don't improve my pc performance. It looks like there is some kind of a bottleneck. For example: Arma 3 on ultra would run at 50-70 FPS, but when I drive in town and there are a lot of buildings to render the drop is down to 20 FPS some times. But when I switch my setteing to minimum nothing changes! Same FPS. The familiar problem is with all the other games like Total War, Hitman etc. Games work the same on ultra and max settings but when I switch to min it has a slight improvment. All the driveres are updated via AMD driver update app.it seems that my CPU works only on 40-50% on max load. So it's not that. The same with GPS. When I tried to speed it up with Radeon app NOTHING changes. There is only one suspicious thing about RAM: while gaming it uses about 4-5GB of memory. The rest is for cache. I have tried to turn the cache off in Windows settings but then my PC started doing some weird staff and when I would open couple of apps it would reboot with massage "Not enough memory". So I turned cache on again. Enother thing is with XMP. It turned on in BIOS but than my PC would reboot couple of times a day and show massage something like: your overclock mode has faild. Return to BIOS to change. I have this problem for over a year. I have spend a lot of hours over this sh*t. And if you will help me to solve this problem I will be very thankfull!
  5. I think that's because Total war is not using all 8gb. in display settings it shows my gpu info and it's 8 gb as it suppose to be
  6. So here we go: ---------------------------------- Configs: mobo: MSI 970 gaming CPU: AMD FX- 8350 Cooler: cooler master hyper 212 evo RAM: 8GB (G. Skill freq 2133.) GPU: MSI R9 390 Storage: 1tb WD and 128gb ssd PS: CX 600M Monitor: AOC G2460PF OC: Windows 8.1 (pirated) ----------------------------------- I have done some research and thanks to Linus videos I build this PC myself with 0 experience. I build this computer mainly for gaming. ----------------------------------- PROBLEMS: Computer runs fine. but the games seem to be slow in FPS. 1)Some comands in games like "open map" make games freeze for a half a sec. When I redece the graphics from ultra to high (for example) the problem remains. FPS STAYS the same. It does not increase! ONLY if I go to medium but problem with frame freeze when map opens remains. My brother has the same CPU and GPU and his PC runs faster. like 20 fps differens while. And for some reason in Attila Total War settings my graphics/video memory is shown to be 3gb when it has to be 8gb. When I open "MSI Gaming App" and set video card to OC mode the computer seem to run even SLOWER. 2) when I play games and press Alt+TAB to switch between apps weird thing happen. [See the photos attached.] I used DP cable but when I changed to HDMI the problem appeared to be solved. but then I realized that 144Hz HDMI does not support. So I changed back to DP. When I press Alt+TAB couple of times switching between Desktop and game the screen goes back to normal. MY ATTEMTS TO SOLVE: I thought the problem is with drivers. I installed MSI LIVE. Updated everything. nothing changed. When I lunch Attila Total War It says that drivers are outdated. I installed third-party driver update app. Updated whatever was required. NOTHING CHANGED! I ran some benchmarks. CPU temp seems to be normal as well as GPS. RAM is also fine, tested with mdsched.exe And now I am out of ideas... Thinking about installing new Windows. Any ideas people?! Thanks in advance!
  7. Cpu: fx-8350 Mobo: msi 970 gaming Ram: g skill 8gb ddr3 Psu: cordair vs 550 Gpu r9 390 Hdd: wd blue 1tb Ssd: 128gb
  8. So I build my first pc. R9 390, AMD fx-8350. When I launch the game the picture/animation looks crashed. Every time this crashes look different. When I restart my pc it will go to normal. So If the main menu is lunched and there is no this kind of problem it does not appear anymore. I only have one game installed so I have not tried to lunch any other game yet and don't know if the same kind of problem will appear on other games. So I don't know what does this "anomaly" is really caused from. I will be very thankful if you will help me.
