  1. I recently upgraded my pc from an AMD a6 to intel i7 4770. And upon upgrading, i noticed that most of the time my mouse and keyboard wont work when windows 10 boots. It works during the Bios stage, but stops working during the loading circle of windows 10 note: I installed windows 10 on my HDD when I was still using my AMD a6, i plugged it immediately to my new mobo upon upgrading to i7 Sometimes after several times of resetting my pc, the mouse and keyboard finally works. any ideas on whats the problem? Your help would be very much appreciated.
  2. Thank you all. I am now less worried about it. You guys are awesome!
  3. You MAN, are an ANGEL! a bearded angel at that. Thank you so much for that, it's really reassuring! THANKS ALOT guys!
  4. is that really grease? can someone confirm this? this would be really really really good news!
  5. I'm a bit anxious. I cant test it until tomorrow what are the chances of haswell processors failing?
  6. I tried rubbing it with TP, to no avail it looks like a slightly burnt part of the shiny gold things
  7. I just bought a used i7 4770, and I noticed a dark smudge on the connectors. Should I be worried? I cant test it yet cause my board hasnt arrived yet HEEELP THANKS!
  8. oh sorry mate. I'm new here hehe. Cool, thanks for the insight. someone is actually selling me a proc+mobo bundle. is the asus H61M-E a good board? It lacks usb 3.0 and 6gb/s sata port, but it does support overclocked RAM speed up to 2200mhz.
  9. really? so performance and gaming wise the ivybridge i5 would be a better buy than the i3 haswell?
  10. Need help on what processor to get. If I get the i3 4160, i will also get an lga1150 mobo. hence it will last me a little longer if ever I want to upgrade to a haswell i7. rather than going with lga1155 and will be restricted to ivy bridge. Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated thanks
