  1. Really interesting video, it would perhaps be useful to compare some CPU intensive games on both the 'bare-metal' system and VM in the future. Also, "Don't copy that floppy", that was funny. Who's been watching Computer Chronicles?
  2. You could try clearing the data and cache for all the apps affected within Settings, though you'd lose the data from those apps. Have you tried manually closing all your apps then restarting your tablet?
  3. In case the tools mentioned don't work, you could try resetting your iPhone from the Settings app. This should remove the jailbreak without needing to update, but you would lose all your data in the process. I'd recommend backing up your data to iTunes offline to avoid an accidental update before resetting your iPhone.
  4. The iPad Mini 2 is still definitely worth it, especially as it has the 64 bit A7 processor which is good for future proofing. I guess the main downside is the 1GB RAM, if you're going to multitask a lot or use large apps this may become more of a problem as time goes on. Otherwise, it's a good tablet with a wide selection of apps.
  5. If you're already within the iOS ecosphere and have friends using iPods, you may want to stick with iPad. In terms of iPad choice definitely go with the the iPad Mini 2, as the Mini 3 has the same internals with the addition of Touch ID - not worth the extra money on its own. Before you make a final choice, could you borrow an Android tablet to see if it would work for you? They are generally cheaper than iPads but may not be supported for as long (iPad 2 with 2011 hardware still gets iOS updates, almost all Android tablets from the same era have since been dropped - though there are unofficial roms like Cyanogenmod). Another thing to consider are the app stores, using an Android tablet will allow you to see if all the apps you use on your iPad are available on Android.
  6. Okay, if it didn't work with Linux then it's likely a more general problem. Could you attach another monitor/TV to the same HDMI port to see if you get any output, whilst your original monitor is connected as normal? I would do this to see whether there is perhaps a problem with the TV, or if the problem really lies with your PC.
  7. Belated welcome to the LTT forums, hope your stay has been a positive one so far
  8. Missed it first time, this logo looks very cool Sinder5
  9. You have saved me time searching for/asking about about a reliable plugin, thank you.
  10. It's great to have access to LMG content anytime via YouTube & Vessel, but has any thought been given to allowing video downloads? Perhaps by creating an official LMG archive? I know there was talk on the WAN Show recently about releasing a DVD/downloadable version of Scrapyard Wars 3, but I'm not sure how feasible it would for the LMG back catalogue. Especially when considering sponsors, etc would probably have to be edited out. I would definitely like some 'Best of' collections made available, thanks. Edit: Never mind, I have seen it mentioned that the LMG storage server crashed. I guess that will take a while to recover from, good luck

    Hi!

Same here, technology in general is amazing and LMG/LTT allows me to easily keep up to date as well. That album sounds like real fun, I certainly wasn't expecting the video we got today - but that doesn't mean it was unwelcome I don't remember the album being mentioned on any of the recent WAN Shows, unless I completely missed it. Twitter's also a great way to keep up to date with LTT. But you're right, skip a few vids and I begin to think about what I've missed.

    Hi!

Welcome to the LTT forums What made you decide to sign up?
  13. Update #1: I have added the latest published LTT videos to the database, including Brandon's informative Sony a7S II review & Luke's funny last minute Christmas buying guide. Let me know if you have a preference for updates, whether you prefer fortnightly or monthly additions? The database can be accessed via the link in the first post.
  14. Great product choices, thanks! Luke's intro was funny but it was the faster music that really got me
  15. Great, I'm glad it worked & post back if you have any more problems.
