  1. Thanks for your help If I get round top doing this, then I will let you know of how it went!
  2. Ah I plan to spray paint the side panel window and the front panel and the top dust filter. So to confirm I need to do a light sanding on the metal parts. Then apply primer to the plastic and metal parts. Then apply about 3-4 coats?
  3. Would you say something like this would do the job? https://www.amazon.co.uk/HYCOTE-XUK03015-Primer-Aerosol-Spray/dp/B003MLIFN8/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1461175259&sr=8-2&keywords=primer+paint I have never spray painted my case before
  4. Thanks for that. I was reading through your guide and I would like to know if adding primer is absolutely essential for spray painting. Could clean my case, lightly sand and spray paint metal and plastic parts? I would like to use Kobra Spray Paint because it is matt.
  5. Hi guys! So about 3 months ago, I built my first PC which I called the guardian. I wanted to get the build done first before I worry about aesthetics later done the line which I am going to talk to you about now. My setup is based around a black and yellow theme so I wanted to spray paint parts of my PC yellow, but I'm not sure whether to go for matt or gloss and also what brands should I trust? The parts I will paint will be the top dust filter, front panel (without the driver bays), maybe the side panel and the side panel window. Speaking about the side panel window, I'm guessing I'm going to need to cover it up with some blue masking tape of some sort? And what other equipment will I need to make this a fine job? If you guys have any experience or advice please let me know and how about post a picture for inspiration Thanks (P.S I quite like this one http://imgur.com/gallery/fDF0n)
  6. Yeah man I really wished I had that gear. I had to record this in school so I used my iPad and hand skills to make it look somewhat good, but I'm glad you like it
  7. Hi there! I made a lamp for my Product Design project at school and I need to write up an evaluation. Part of the evaluation includes me getting some feedback from others and I was wondering if you could help me out with that. Here is a video of the lamp Here are some pictures http://imgur.com/a/Pi3OJ Here is the survey https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1AaOP4jfKn0R5-5-UBzz3_E8gevlqAJdQNwi-0K4tv2Q/viewform?c=0&w=1 Thanks a lot and feel free to share this with anyone else who might be interested!
  8. I would like to win the Sagitta Spectrum mouse so that I can customize the lighting to match my set up
  9. Ok thanks. Seems like I was already on channel 6 which was the best channel in my area. I will see how it holds up for now, but if I need a new dongle I will go for it
  10. Ok cool. I think that you should get the same manufacture and type of ram as your original one. Here is more information about ram if you want https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=Linus+talks+about+ram
  11. All motherboards I know of only support 1 type of ram (DDR1, DDR2 etc). I would also recommend going dual channel. So having 2 sticks of 4gb ram to give you 8gb
  12. Hi So I recently built a PC and with my motherboard (Asus z87 deluxe) coming with a WiFi GO! Adapter. Since plugging it up to my motherboard, I get good speeds sometimes and then every 20 minutes, my internet will just crap out and take ages to load Google. YouTube doesn't show thumbnails and videos change to 144p automatically. Just really bad internet speeds. Worst of all everyone else connected to the same router gets the same problem too and it's really annoying. Before I built my computer, I had a laptop and I never had this problem. If you scroll down this page https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Z87DELUXE/ you will find more information about the Wifi GO! Adapter I have and other information about my motherboard. If anyone has had the same problem or knows a solution please let me know of it as any responses are appreciated. Thanks
  13. It looks like you have done custom cable sleaveing and from what I have heard, you need to be really careful. Maybe check your connections and that each one is secure.
