  1. Hello friends, This is my first wtaerloop and I just have a few questions, I will list specs at the end. 1) What is your best tecnique to bend 12mm OD PETG bitspower tubing? (I have a monssoon metal angle kit). 2) Approximately what temperature and how long should I use my heat gun to bend the 10mm OD petg tubing. (I dont want those white frost marks. 3) Which is the better way to get the best temps. Cool Water to gpu to cpu and back to radiator? or CPU to GPU and back to Rsd. 4) I hear keeping the ball drain valve at the lowest point in the loop is the best way to easily drain the loops. Whee is the best location for a drain value?
  2. Finally finished! Don't get too upset over the cable management.. I'm waiting for my Linus Tech Tips Noctua fan and my Led fan to come in and then I'll really god to town on managing the cables. Other than that this my my first build. My friend who helped me build the silverstone case died a few weeks ago. I vowed then to make sure I could build and diagnose computers. Specs: CPU: Core i5-2500k GPU: Asus Strix Gefore GTX 960oc 4gb GDDR5 MOBO: Zotac H67 1155 socket mITX Cooler: Corsair H55 Quiet Case: Corsair240 Monitor: Benq 3d ready 144hz 1ms refresh rate. Tell me what you all think for my first build!!=D remember I'm just waiting on my fans to get here so I can finish up the cable management.
  3. it's all up and running so no troubles. I'm waiting to do the nit picky cable management for when I pop in my red LED fans. I did basic cable management for the time being. Honestly though with the Corsair h55 Quiet I'm idling at 5 degrees celcius, compared to 25 on my stock cooler. I'll add the rest of the pics once I do my second pass on it. I'm still waiting for custom badges and stickers and the damn HUEHUEHUE to get back in stock lol
  4. Hey everyone! I have a few pictures so far of my old, according to linus "Logically laid out lunchbox" lol it's a silverstone ITX case and it really is such a tight fit in there as you'll see. I never had to build my own computer, I can diagnose and troubleshoot things but I never had to actually build it, because my neighbor was always there and that was his favorite hobby, building computers. We;;, unfortunately I don't have the luxury of relying on my friend anymore as he has departed from these plains of existence. So now I set off on my own to try and better learn what he loved. To do that I've decided to take everything apart and put it back together to finally learn ,in memory of him, how to build a computer. I'll be transplanting everything into this Corsair240 and will be using an AIO for the first time. wish me luck.
  5. Ok thank you, I was really trying to figure out if I was breaking any rules or anything. I'm glad I'm not. Like I said before That article was posted 5 days ago, I went 5 pages now without seeing a post about this. I'm going to assume it's fine, again if not I'm sure a moderator will correct me. Thanks for the help though. Thank you everyone ,will be sure to shoot for an A next time. now let's start circling back to the actual article to which this thread was actually supposed to be about. If it's going to be deleted I'd rather it be for my format than this back and forward conversation about my format lol.
  6. and they say 16gb of that hbm2 vram? awesommme
  7. I've never heard of Volta...is that like supposedly next in line or is that something that already exists that they're going to update?
  8. I found that chart quite interesting if nothing else.
  9. Again guys I'm just posting interesting links that I've found. Until it's benchmarked take everything with a grain of salt. http://wccftech.com/nvidia-pascal-gp100-gpu-compute-performance/ The article was actually posted 5 days ago, i skimmed back 5 pages of forum posting and didn't see anything on it so I went ahead and posted. They didn't have anything definitive listed regarding Price or Performance Increase, which is probably what everyone is most interested in lol. I personally am more into the science going behind what makes it possible, considering I'll probably never afford one lol.
  10. hey all btw, I'm just forwarding the article I stumbled across and stating what my impression of it is. I have no evidence of anything obviously and no contacts inside to verify. So take it with a grain of salt.
  11. http://www.overclock3d.net/articles/gpu_displays/the_vulkan_api_has_been_released/1
  12. http://wccftech.com/nvidia-pascal-graphics-cards-spotted/ Unfortunately there are no specs with this article, but it has been confirmed that 4 new serial numbers have been added to a batch list to be picked up at a Port in china. The fact that they're ready to be picked up in China makes it seem like they're done a first batch of Pascal cards, and 4 different ones!
  13. Omg that Kova black looks so nice, out of the 3 I would love that one. Lord knows how badly I need to upgrade from this $15.00 mouse that's dying. Btw LTT Team thanks for all the work you guys do. Always love the content no matter if it's relevant to things going on personally with me. Keep up the great work and thanks for the awesome giveaways you guys arrange.
  14. Just finished watching the episode announcing the giveaway, couldn't be more excited when I saw the date posted haha. As for the products I have actually been keeping my eyes on that exact headset and keyboard for a while now but can't really spare the money for them right now, I'm still roughing it on an old mousepad. Fortunately the holidays are coming up! I was hoping I'd see some of this gear go on sale later on but if I could somehow win the giveaway, I can stop being a selfish gamer and actually buy some other people stuff this year, haha. I can't help it I'm inpulsive! Anyways love the show and all the information you guys provide, keep it coming.
