    Good Budget Dac

Thank you for your help man even though I couldn't do it myself I would actually prefer that one but because I live in Norway I would have to pay 72$ in shipping plus an extra 25% of the price including shipping. This means the total would be around 220$ for a 112$ product

    Good Budget Dac

But I'm probably just going to go for the FiiO E10K

    Good Budget Dac

I did try quite a lot but I couldn't check if the hardware was the problem because I don't have any other hardware lying around

    Good Budget Dac

So I can't fix it myself and would now really appreciate some help in finding a good dac

    Good Budget Dac

Oh well that would be great then if I didn't have to buy one at all, I posted my problem on the forum and was told that it was most likely EMI and I then just assumed that it was the shielding that failed... Stupid me

Well considering the very annoying crackling I get when I've plugged my headphones into the aux ports on my motherboard I'm guessing the shielding failed. I really don't know much about audio so I really didn't think I needed an amp with my headphones but if I do I will buy a DAC and AMP combo.

    Good Budget Dac

So I own the Sony MDR-1A headphones and I need a DAC for them because the audio shielding on my motherboard just failed. Looking for one that is around 100USD and would like two aux outputs so I can use my speakers as well. Considering the FiiO E10k right now.
  9. How on earth does your rig cost less than 120£?
  10. http://www.cooltek.de/en/jonsbo-powered-by-cooltek/w-series/131/w2 I don't know if they sell this in the UK but it's quite small and not terribly expensive

  12. Ok, well thank you all for such quick response
  13. Oh! So maybe just try to run the audio cable away from all the other cables and see if it works then?
