  1. I'll suggest restart since your laptop have been running nonstop. There must be some thermal buildup.
  2. Come back or msg me when you come back with some results.
  3. Try to look for their Yoga 710 and 910 series. They can be equipped with 4K panel, and up to the latest 7 gen Intel I7 mobile processors. You can also look at the 700 series ( you can look at my profile for the model I'm using) for a cheaper price, though it has a 1080P screen. It's well enough for a 14inch laptop.
  4. What games are you looking to play? I'm personally using Intel integrated graphics (HD520) to play my games on my ultrabook. It's feasible if you tune your settings at 720P low. You should be able to get a stable 60FPS. Your goal should be getting a stable and playable experience, not a ultra nice looking one. That's a rule of thumb when it comes to integrated graphic gaming on a laptop.
  5. A 960 should play rocket league fine. Like @Vespertine said, use GeForce Experience to optimize your in game settings. If you're itching for an upgrade, I would say wait for the 470/570 price to drop back down. You really don't need Vega to play games like rocket league.
  6. Nope, but if you can get it cheap at 250ish, that'll be worth it. But since you'll be sticking to 1080P, the 570/470 perform almost the same as the 580.
  7. Nixeus VUE 24 Gaming Monitor
  8. Rx cards + a freesync display. You can thank me later.
  9. I thought they fixed the bug. Maybe OP have to update his bios or something. Try to update everything and see if the bug persist. If not, you shouldn't worry too much.
  10. I would suggest wait but can you go to a store which has these screens and check them out in person. One thing with TN panels is that color accuracy isn't that good but if it looks good enough for you, buy them. There's always New stuff.coming out so... If you're not in a hurry to upgrade, wait.
  11. You know what? TweakTown has just released today an AM4 motherboard buyers guide which details everything you should look for on an AM4 board. Check it out! http://www.tweaktown.com/guides/8243/amd-am4-ryzen-motherboard-buyers-guide/index.html Hope this helps!
  12. I would say go for it if you can find a cheap 980ti (which almost equals to a GTX1070 nowadays). But Vega is launching at the end of this month at Siggraph, so do you have the patience to wait?
  13. Then I would suggest this: get an RX570/RX470 with a 1080P 144Hz Freesync display. You'll get a way better gaming experience out of it + you'll save some cash since Freesync displays are normally $100-200 cheaper than their G-Sync counterpart and does almost the same thing - and that is offering a screen tearing-free gaming experience.
  14. Let me ask you: do you have a monitor? If so, what's the resolution and refresh rate?
  15. What are the cheapest 1440P G-sync displays you can find in your area? Can you list them out?
  16. 95-100 frames is actually quite good but that sounds really off when you're using an RX480. Please make sure to overclock your CPU and come back to us with the fps number.
  17. What monitor are you running?
  18. I would suggest a good air cooler like the BeQuiet Dark Rock 3 or the Cryorig R1, considering that going water is a bit OP for the Ryzen 5 series.
  19. Well, consider this, the Xs are better-binned chips compared to the non-X ones.It really depends on how hardcore you want your system to be. If you have a specific budget, go for 1700. It's as good as the 1700X when overclocked but what overclock will you hit is on the silicone lottery.
  20. In all honesty, wait for the RX570/RX470 prices to drop back down.
  21. Since AMD confirmed that they gonna launch Vega during Siggraph 2017 (which takes place in LA between July 30 and August 3), I'll suggest wait.
  22. Hmm... Ok, I just checked your monitor. You should be just fine with a GTX1070.
  23. May I ask you what's the reason you want to build this PC so that I can better help you?
  24. because your CPU and everything else should last a while. The only thing that will hold you back rn is your GPU. Maybe you can wait for Vega if you're not too itching for an upgrade.
  25. Sidegrade to an RX580 for Freesync????
