  1. I need mass storage haha. It's not really video editing. I'm doing audio editing haha.
  2. I don't think that a Xeon is necessary for me right now. Yet, I'll look into the 16 gb. But I think 8 gb is ok right now.
  3. FX 8370 is newer than the 8350. So maybe more support in the future.
  4. I don't think I'll need a super speedy SSD right now. But I'll take it as an upgrade down the road.
  5. Hello guys, YongKang here, presenting what I may call a very possible build. I probably need time to earn cash for this but I feel that this is doable ( unlike that above 2000$ CAD ITX build list). Here's the partlist: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/KZxcJx I'm holding out on the case because CES 2016 announced some very exciting cases such as the Eclipse P400 from Phanteks and SPEC ALPHA from Corsair. They are ranging the 69$ USD to 79$ USD range. This pc should max out most games at 1080p with a very good framerate + that Nixeus freesync panel will give me buttersmooth gameplay. I'll play Battlefront and Overwatch but also less demanding games like Robocraft and Team Fortress 2. I will also stream at the same time. The reason why this build exist: I've been using a laptop eqquiped with a Intel centrino dual core runinng 2.1GHz and a nvidia geforce gtx 105M since 2009. Web browsing is ok but I can't open more than 5 tabs at a time. Even Robocraft at the fastest setting is running 30fps. What do you guys think of this partlist? Your comments and criticism are welcomed!
  6. Audiophile here! Really like the clear info you're throwing out here. It would be even better suggest some alternative to the choices that you made. Keep on the good work!
  7. With what kind of currency are you working with? CAD or USD?
  8. Would it be better if I pick the 980 ti strix over the gigabyte one?
  9. Thank you for your kind word! I was thinking about the same thing as you but I wanted to get a little bit of futurprofness in this build.
  10. What's the problem with the gigabyte stuff? Explanation and suggestion needed.
  11. Hello guys, this would my first time to build a pc. It would mainly serve me as a work/gaming pc. Here's the part list:http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/user/MYK97/saved/#view=MPWqqs What do guys think? YK
  12. I think I'll settle with the G1 gaming. The strix was in my mind also but it's cost over my budget after taxes. Canada with its overpriced computer component and heavy taxes. Q~Q
  13. Any recommendation for air cooled 980ti? I watched a lot of reviews but almost everyone of them say "they are so good" . The Gigabyte G1 Gaming looks promising .
  14. I worry about the temps bro since it's gonna sit on my desk .
  15. I considered the 980 hybrid for awhile since it is an ITX build and the hybrid would expel the heat out of the case. The problem is that price tag, you know? That's why I was thinking :" I could get a 980ti to with that kind of money" So, in resume : price-to-performance and heat are the two major things that I worry about
  16. Hello guys, I'm building an ITX system in the Phanteks evolv itx. Picking the right gpu for my futur system is really hard for me. I have about 900$ for a single gpu. I really torn between the 980 hybrid or getting an air cooled 980ti that would fit my budget. What's your opinion guys?
  17. I really like the subdue look of the keyboard. It looks very elegant without that *RGB bullshit* (just joking). The mouse seems to be super comfy for a palm grip. Hope I win a set!
