  1. Thank you all for your help!
  2. Hi, I am looking to buy sleeved cable for my build. Since I live in Canada and the only official retailer is NCIX. I have nowhere to buy them. I went looking to Neweeg.ca and they have the color that I want but the page on newegg is not the same with the cablemod page on their official website. The Newegg page does not list my model as supported but the E-seires of Cablemod support my model. I have an EVGA G3 750. Newegg that does not list my model Cable mod that list my model Will the cable from Newegg will fit into my computer or not? Thanks
  3. Hello, I have an old laptop that is laying around and doing nothing. So I decided to do something and put a SSD and change the thermal paste. I downvolted the CPU to .900v instead of 1.025. The system is stable and the fan is not too loud. The CPU temp are fine at around 62C under load but..... The package temp are at 110C!! The system is supposed to shut down above 90C but it has not done it right now and everything is fine. Is it something to be woried about? The specs are: -A10-5745M -R7 M260 -10GB of RAM Thanks for the help
  4. So I am looking to get new headphone, I want to spend around 230 +/- 70 without taxes I have selected a few that I like (desing, price, brand) Beyerdynamic Custom one Pro plus Audio-Technica ATH MSR7GM(I prefer the gunmetal version) Beyerdynamic custom studio The custom studio are the best for me as of right now but they are not in stock and I kinda need it Do you have any other suggestion? I listen to pretty much all music so I am looking for one that will play pretty much all music nicely
  5. It depends on what games you want to play and at wich level, The one with a 1ms will be better for csgo and competitive games The other does have a better image and it is curved The LC27F398 is not a 144hz monitor. It is a 60hz monitor according to samsung site. I have the samsung C27F591 curved monitor and it is a very good monitor event without a VESA mount. I would go for the 27inch curved LC27F398 for the better image (color, brightness and contrast) since a 4ms is not very noticeable
  6. I was not aware of trim and I will try it! For most use cases, NVMe SSDs do not offer an appreciably better performance. Thank you! I may buy an UPS instead since I have frequent power outage and installing a nvme ssd require me to remove the heatsink that is really difficult to reinstall
  7. Hi everyone, I finished building my computer last month. I had an old ssd laying aroud so I decided to use it. Since last week, the ssd became very slow from time to time. The ssd will be about 2 years old in a month. The ssd is 120gb and 70gb is not in use Before having it spare it was in a pc that ran about 20h/day and 6/7days a week. This lead to my question, should I buy a 960 evo to replace it since it is on sale and I don't want to lose data? Will there be a performance improvement on boot time and program start? I have a m.2 port on my motherboard Links: 960 evo Old ssd Thank everyone for the feedback Sorry for bad english
  8. I have done all my stress test, My cpu is now at 4.8ghz stable and 1.15v at 60C the only thing is Intelspeed Step is enable and when the cpu is at idle the voltage goes to 1.35v and when it become under load the voltage goes down to 1.15v. Is this normal or should I be worried?
  9. Thanks everyone for the help!
  10. I will test it for about 2hours tomorow
  11. I am using Aida64 for 8min I think I will set it at 4.8ghz and 1.2v becuase at 5ghz XMP got disabled
  12. Thank you! It seems like the voltage is at 1.25v but it is set to 1.3v?
  13. Ok and sorry if I am kinda noob but now it is at 5ghz and 1.3v and 67c on stress test
