Hey all, I don't know where else to go for answers. So my work recently gave me a brand new GoBoxx SLM with a i7-11800H and Nvidia Quadro RTX A3000 6GB and 64GB of DDR4 Memory. I thought it would be a beast of a work station when using Solidworks. As of right now it is pretty lack luster. Choppy frame rate, fans at max and pretty hot. Solidworks runs better on my desktop with an i3 4th gen and 750ti. Anyway, I'm wondering if anyone would know what could be causing this with a brand new laptop? There is a security program on it called "Endpoint" but I don't think I'm allowed to remove it. When it is running poorly I can't find any indication of being under too much strain in task manager. Everything is below 30%. I adjusted some settings in Nvidia Control Panel so that the laptop is for sure using the Quadro A3000. There really isn't any other software installed on the device.

I have an LGA 1150 z97 board and right now I have a Core i3 4170...(pretty bad I know) but im looking at new cpus and im thinking about the next step up from the 4460.

Thanks man, I have a z97 gaming 5 board right now. I'm kind of 50/50 on AMD cards though. Ive heard their drivers are worse.

How is this card for GTA V? Also wondering what cpu i should pair with it. (LGA 1150)

I really like the mouse because of its matte black finish. The wood on the headset looks amazing as well.
