Well, to be fair... i'm almost certain that the seller scammed the actual owner of the pc, you know... when the price is almost too good to be true and the buyer still doesn't ask to test the card before paying and leaving... (told him to do so about 5 or 6 times to no avail). The idea of the original owner messing up is very present to me, these cards cost roughly double the price we got it, and they said that the owner was his sister and never used it really much... //suspicious, suspicious me// Airflow isn't ideal (will to improve is on it's way) have to leave the case open and still this reactor makes it feel like a hairdryer. Atm it has a 90 mm fan at the back, one 80 mm at the front and another on the side between GPU and CPU. Just the first is exausting, the other two are intakes. I've set a custom fan profile on the card to be more agressive and temps are as follows: Temps reported by GPU-Z 1.17 Idling on the desktop GPU 40 C VRM1 38 C VRM2 26 C Medal of honor warfighter GPU 67 C VRM1 58 C VRM2 26 C Battlefront GPU 70 C VRM1 56 C VRM2 26 C Furmark got it to 97 C (before starting this thread) but i stopped it as soon as i seen that. Fan is set to around 50% when idling and gets between 60% and 70% while gaming. Just saw that VDDC current reads a bit over 90 Amps, wait, what? Is this right?

Hi forum! First time speaking out here (mostly been reading silently in the past... ) Situation is this, the card in the title is new to me (got it second hand) and i can't seem to get along with it. Has given me a lot of headaches and reading time and i still can't assure the cause of the problems... It overheats like the sun! heck it even makes the whole case hot to touch and today the screen started blinking black (image goes off for half a sec and comes back several times randomly). Have it connected to the tv through an HDMI cable i can hear a crackle sound from the speakers once in a while... System specs: PSU: Seasonic ECO 600w Mobo: Asus M4A785TD-V EVO (AM3) ...upgraded during first hicups to the latest bios. CPU: Phenom II X4 810 2.6 Ghz (stock) CPU cooler: Thermaltake TR2 R1 GPU: Asus R9 280x DirectCU II (Radeon drivers version 17.2.1) RAM: Trascend Performance 1600 Mhz (2 Gb x2) and Kingston 1333 Mhz ValueRam (2 Gb x1) HDD: 7200 rpm SATA 320 Gb OS: Windows 10 pro 64 bits Optical: SATA DVD-RW Asus GPU Tweak II custom profile ( GPU clock 1070 Mhz GPU voltage 1175 mV Memory clock 6400 Mhz Power target 100% Wolud like to here your thoughts or questions if i missed something important
