So far my storage setup consisted only of a 1TB 7200 rpm Seagate HDD. I bought this hard disk 3 years ago, when I built my (first) desktop and the reason for my choice was just.... money. I just didn't have much money, so I simply chose an HDD that was not to pricey. Now that I can finally afford to upgrade my pc regularly I have purchased a 256 GB Samsung 840 Pro SSD. I have purchased it this month, so now I will install OS, programs and games I generally use on the SSD and use the HDD for storing data. I picked the 840 Pro because I think it is one of the best SSDs out in the market, both for performance and reliability, and 256 GB are enough for OS and applications. My plan for the next 1-2 years is to use only SSDs in my rig, and have a NAS for storage and backup. -Here is my Facebook share (Carlo Masone): https://www.facebook.com/carlo.masone.3/posts/213306272171233 -Here is my tweitter share (@CarmasTech): https://twitter.com/CarmasTech/status/382757786678857728
