  • Biography
Story Time: How I joined the PC MasterRace.
Was a console gamer, use to fanboy on Sony but came to realize I was a silly sausage because all consoles are great! Was thinking about building a pc for a side project but I didnt care much until, what was a tragic event happened to my household! We got broken into! Our PS4, XBone, 2Ipads(1mini,1Air), Cashbox, and more were stolen and since we left a window slightly open insurance wouldnt cover it. So my side project became my #1 priority! Within a month I build my first pc, and got ripped of doing so! I ordered most of my parts on pccasegear and MSY and they are absolutely wonderful. But for GPU I went to my local computer store and being a no0b at the time, i was clueless and talked into buying a GT740 eventhough I wanted a 750ti. They told me it was worth it, and isnt much different and ohh boy was that a lie! so $170AUD($122USD at the time)later, my friend kindly gave me his 750ti as he got a 970 and for f***! it was like comparing a 960 to a 980 haha xD I was so happy xD thankfully I only had to use that crap card for like 2 weeks, but still it was $170 wasted on something worth dirt! Anyway, moral of my story is JOIN THE MASTER RACE BUT TREAT ALL GAMING WHETHER ITS XBOX, PS, NINTENDO, OR PC EQUALLY unless they are cod gamers..... they can just quickscope their way out of our lives! AND TO LOCK UP AT ALL TIMES BECAUSE THIS WORLD IF FULL OF GREEDY Cwords.
(This whole story is based on true events which occured in early 2015, I do not want sympathy because its teaches us all lessons and no one was harmed which is what mattered most... still pissed though! they took all the games off the shelves but left driveclub there! I hated that game soooo much!)

  1. Thanks for the reply, it looks so much better now :-)
  2. Hi all! This is going to be a no0b question so please bear with me :-) I am new to the semi modular power supply system as my last non modular psu died and my only problem about this new psu (Cougar CMX850) is that the standard 6+2pin cables are thick, has 2 sets of pins so I have to bend the cable together in order to use on my gpu and it looks extremely messy :-( I miss having my cables perfectly neat so I am wondering if its bad to not use the main PCI-e/6+2pin cable and just use the 2 modular ones as they are thin/flat, more flexible and only contain 1 6+2 pin connector?(So in saying that using 2 1x6+2 cables looks extremely neat and easy to manage) I know this will come as a silly question to most but like I said I am new to the modular system and I only started building in 2015. I do not see what harm it can do to my PC, but I guess its better being safe than sorry. Thanks everyone and happy new year :-) Joninkin
  3. I cannot say which is my favorite as I have never tried the products, but that headset with the retro theme going to bringing my inner hipster out!! Ohh my! Why so beautiful! And that keyboard and mouse would be a massive upgrade from my 100% authentic mlg compaq/hp mouse and keyboard from like 2008... yeah! Oh and since my gaming set up is based on looks (Should have gone practicability, but the gayness comes out on everyone haha) these would be brilliant! I have never been a fan on those over the top keyboards with tacky shapes and sizes(*Cough, Cough* Logitech, Asus, Couger). I love the simplicity of the keyboard! <3 oh my!! Plus it would go great with FALLOUT 4!!!! OHH MAAA GAWWDDD!!! (Also my mouspad is actually a plate mat and its bluetacked on to stop moving!) If anyone had got up to reading this part, im honestly surprised so thanks!?!? I am kinda new to PC Gaming(6months about). Even though my build may not be a powerhouse it still runs games perfectly at 1080p! I learned how to build my PC through watching the LMG channel on youtube and I just wish to say thanks to Linus and the whole crew (Including mini linus who build a powerhouse at only 3!!!!! #Jelly) and thanks to all their viewers and goodluck to all :-) Hope the winners enjoy their prizes :-)
