  1. Ok. I will check the safe mode, and hopefully it'll work. If it fails, I will get the dics and try some magic with my PC. Thx all
  2. Oh, I forgot to mention, I also tried to restart (first thing I did actually) several times, with no positive result. I will look up safe mode, thx.
  3. Hello fellas, My grandma was using her laptop (Win7) yesterday, and after she finished, she turned it off. Today, she switched it on and all her data were missing. Nothing to be found on C, wallpaper is black, not even the default Windows one. The network is inaccessable, "Networking centre" takes forever to load, as same as the other programs. But, to my suprise, some of the programs she had installed (Mozilla, Skype, smartband sync, ...) are still there. However, neither of those can acces the Internet. I could not turn on Windows recovery point, the window just sorta flashed and dissapeared. Even My computer was slow af and the individual subprograms weren't working, as I mentioned. I tried to boot into Bios, successfully, and started HDD Diagnostics. Again, very slow, Wins showed like 360/450Gbs free. I'm on the third dot out of ten, but it says " 0% of 100%". I searched up Windows emergency mode, but there were no Emergency mode texts around the screen. I will appreciate any help, thanks.
  4. Personally the 970. I have almost the same setup as yours, and it runs perfectly. I'm a bit into nVidia fanboyism, but screw that. NVidia cards have better support and the most important, the are MUCH more effective (almost half the power usage).
  5. Ok, thanks. Do you think it's worth to wait for HDR? I've seen a couple of videos about it, and it seems pretty cool, but if nobody supports it (nVidia, game developers etc) i'll be useless for me. The price is also a thing here. I could get a monitor pf my needs for about 250€ or less, with i5-4690K and GTX 970, waiting up to Pascal and maybe upgrading. K, that was messy. I want my monitor ASAP, will there be good monitors with HDR till the end of the year? (possibly IPS, 144Hz, 2K, ...) Thx again
  6. Hello guys, I'm into buying a new monitor soon, so I did some research. I want a 1080p 144Hz 24" monitor (preferably), but there's the problem. Some manufacturers achieve these specs by lowering th color depth from 8-bit per channel (24-bit per pixel, 16,7 million colors total) to something like 6+2bit. That means the display is 18-bit per pixel, and it creates the missing colors by combining them. I don't want that kind of monitor, I only want true 24-bit monitor. How can I find one? Noone on the Internet seems to include color depth in th specs. Any ideas? Thx
  7. M.2 SSDs are not worth it. Just go with a 2,5" one.
  8. The features are pretty handy sometimes, fe. when I switch from speakers to headphones and the sound goes up like sh*t, I don't have to Alt-Tab and change it manually, the keyboard has the feature built-in. Same for Play/Pause, again, I watch a video on the PC, using my right hand to write stuff on my phone, and meanwhile I can controll the PC with macros etc. I don't really care about features when buying a keyboard, but I like them.

  10. I had MX Blues for like 6 months, and yes, for gaming, they're not so good. For example, CS:GO, osu!, and a whole lot íf others. Now, when I'm on a Cherry MX Silent keyboard, they seem even worse than before
