Waiting for One Plus 3 will be good idea but do you remember when was One Plus 2 launched? It was launched in July 2015 and it took 5 more months to get that phone in US. Waiting for One Plus 3 is a good idea but that wait might get everyone old. PS - I recommend to wait for One Plus 3 because you will get more better specs at lower rates but I hate waiting. get the one with i3 processor, it is faster and it has much more improved graphics than pentium. We can say Pentium is outdated processor now so buying i3 will be better for your daily works.

I didn't find Windows laptop but there are few chromebooks with 4 GB RAM,11-12 hours of battery life. Checkout Toshiba Chromebook 2, if you are interested in buying chrome book.

Yup, Asus laptops aren't bad. One of my friend has Asus laptop which costed him about $500 USD. It was pretty dope laptop with nice build and great performing hardware. Asus has also nice service in US, well I don't know about their service in other countries.

Surface book has lot of problems (article showing all problems). Buy Dell XPS 15 it would be much better or go with fully loaded MacBook Pro.

What kind of games do you like by the way? If you are going to play games by downloading from Mac App Store than its fine go with it but If you like to play high end games like GTA V or Batman Arkham knight etc. than MacBook isn't the good choice.

If you are going to play games on your new laptop than you can buy MSI GS60 and GS70 or Acer V15 Nitro. If you are not going to play games at all than buy newest MacBook pro 15 inch...

Leather is good for phones, I don't recommend to get that for laptop because of heating issues. Carbon and matte are best for laptops and phone as well. Main difference between carbon and matte is, you can get your desired color in matte but carbon comes in black color only.

I personally like carbon or kevlar finish. Skinning laptops, well I do have my MacBook Air skinned in kevlar black material which does look good on it but the problem is it catches heat. Even if I turn off my MacBook still it remains hot and it takes so long to get to normal temperature but I think this is problem with black skins, you can try other skins if you want but make sure it is not black.
