  1. https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/xbox/forum/xba_wowpc/forza-horizon-4-install-on-windows-10/e58d62ef-43b5-4d88-a27e-7ceee8a4c570?messageId=4c223b2e-74ba-4a73-b69e-acb66b81d1d9 see this thread and JamesHolden3095’s answer - it seems to be a problem on Microsoft’s end.
  2. I can’t see an option to refund on the order history page on the Microsoft Store.
  3. Will try - sounds like the best solution yet
  4. I bought this game yesterday, and after installing it, I got an error saying “this game is not currently available on your account.”. After uninstalling the game, I now can not reinstall it due to an error during the acquiring license part of the install (code: 0x803F8001). I have tried resetting the Windows Store using WSReset and via the settings app. I bought the game through the store, so I don’t see it being an issue with the license. Any solutions other than a refund?
  5. As far as I know (there are people who know much more about this than me here: B350 is for 1st Generation Ryzen originally, and requires a BIOS update to run Zen + (2nd Gen Ryzen) chips. You need to swap in a compatible chip to perform the update, unfortunately. There’s a list of Zen & Zen+ chipsets attached, I believe any under Zen will require the BIOS update, though.
  6. Ryzen 1600 MSI B350m Bazooka Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 1x8GB MSI RX 570 Armor 8GB I have just finished building, and I cannot progress past this screen using the F1 or F2 key prompts. The MoBo also shows a boot drive debug light, although I assume that will go away once I get past this screen. thanks in advance
  7. Thanks for the help, and I have no idea about gigabyte recovering losses, it might well be a legacy board now. Found board model: GA-F2A88XM-D3H I'll try and find a PC shop to go and diagnose it, I can't think of any off the top of my head. From the UK, so the only one I can think of is PC World, but I highly doubt they'll be able to help.
  8. tl;dr: my PC killed my GPU 3 months ago, and I bought a new. It worked. My new GPU just died too, however, and I'm stumped as to what's causing it. I bought this PC about a year and a half ago, originally with a quite cheap PSU, and an AMD R7 370. But about 3-4 months ago, the 370 died on me. After some reading, I decided it was a good idea to replace the PSU for (what I think) is a much higher quality corsair model. I bought a 1060, and everything worked fine. However, a couple of days ago, the 1060 died too, leading me to believe it wasn't the cheap power supply in the first place... I'd rather not buy even a cheap new GPU, in case it kills it again. Any ideas as to what the issue could be? Specs: AMD Athlon 860K Gigabyte A88X mobo of some description 8GB RAM (DDR3) (until recently) GTX 1060 Corsair AIO water cooler Corsair CX500 thanks in advance.
  9. I considered the PSU being dead, and it is most definitely shitty. Also, is there a possibility it's something to do with it being run off an outlet extender?
  10. So, I purchased this PC as a prebuilt (helpful comments only, please) about a year and a half ago. Today, I was booting Steam, and it just turned off on me, no warning. When I tried to reboot it, it turned on, but the monitor still said no signal. The GPU fans weren't spinning either, so I assume it's a graphics issue, but is there anything else it could be? (If there are any fixes not involving buying a new GPU, they'd be appreciated) Specs: AMD Athlon 860K R7 370 Some kind of Gigabyte A88X motherboard (I have the manual somewhere)
  11. I am being faced with the dreaded startup diagnostics loop. I am tempted to use the Windows 10 Startup Repair option, but need confirmation that it won't delete any personal files. Also, if anyone has had prior experience, solutions would be appreciated :). All I can find are a string of only somewhat useful Tenforums posts.
  12. That completely changes my view of CEX, thanks for the info, and, yeah, who does trade in a Fury X?
  13. It's CEX, which, not gonna lie, does have a bit of a reputation. They do say they'll demo anything, but I doubt they have a test bench under the counter to stick it into. There was also a 4460 for £95, which, after an eBay trip, seems a little more reasonable of a purchase, but I'm still tempted to have a way over-the-top CPU in my budget system.
  14. I have found an i7-3930K at a second hand store for £115 (that's around $150USD, including VAT). I have a couple of questions... How trustworthy is this, it seems too good to be true? Being a hexacore CPU, will it still perform in games? How hard/expensive will it be to find an LGA2011 mobo to go with it?
  15. I learnt my lesson with my R7 370 (hitting 90°c on Overwatch or TF2 isn't fun), this was my upgrade plan this year anyway, so RX 480 FTW.
