  1. Max out your settings and view distance in Arma 3, then use the editor to spawn in tons of troops and stuff around the island. Then try to fly around in a jet with all of that being drawn at once.
  2. I wonder if they got the idea from The Newsroom.
  3. The main reason I am upgrading is because my current router is an old netgear that does support anything after 802.11g. I just got done building a new gaming PC and intended to turn my old PC into a VM machine with a home server on 1 VM and the router on another. I'm thinking I might try to find an old Cisco router w/ AP on ebay since I have some experience with them.
  4. I realize I don't "need" one but I was hoping to keep as much functionality in one box as I can. I plan to use PFsense. And basically, yeah, I'm just doing it because I can.
  5. I am thinking about building a router for my home. The only thing I really need at this point is a WiFi card for it. I am hoping to find one that supports MIMO functionality, but I'm having trouble finding one that does it. Does anyone have a suggestion or is there even a consumer WiFi card that supports MiMo yet?
  6. I need a new SSD for the boot drive in a home server.
  7. Let me get dat Kova. Need a new mouse for work.
  8. Yep. Also I will mention the CPU header is a PWM header as well I believe, but I have all of these fans on the Sys_fan1 header. I'm just using a stock cooler on the CPU for the moment so I didn't want these fans controlled from there.
  9. I recently purchased 5 Noctua NF-A14 iPPC-3000 PWM fans to use in my Corsair 750D. I have a GA-990FXA-UD3 motherboard which has 1 PWM fan header. So I purchased this Swifttech PWM splitter to connect to the PWM header and run the fans off of it. The problem I have is that the speed of the fans never seems to change they run around 2500 - 2700 RPM at idle or under load. My CPU temps are never getting above 47 C. Checked the BIOS and changed the fan control method to PWM from Auto and it still didn't help. These things are loud as crap so any help on how to slow them down would be appreciated.
