  1. I ended up getting the at2020 USB +. The mic seems great but I'm getting a lot of background noise, do you know how to reduce it?
  2. The main reason I want to buy this mic is for school. We have a lot of projects involving audio voice overs and I thought it would be a good investment for the future. I also want to try animation and voice acting on youtube (maybe). If the difference between interface and no interface is not too much, choosing the psu and upgrading later would fit my budget better. Do you think there's a large quality difference between the psu option and a mixer/etc? P.S I'm hesitant on the usb option because a lot of people say that usb mics are crackly. Also, the usb mic is $200 CAD which I think is too much for what you get. Spending potentially less or maybe $10-30 more with upgradeability options sounds like a better deal to me.
  3. Why is a good audio interface important? (I'm new to sound, sorry)
  4. I'm thinking of getting an At2020. I've been researching my options and decided to go with the XLR At2020. I'm just not sure what I'm supposed to get mixer wise. I would prefer something really basic so I can save up towards an upgrade (preferably under $80, $100 max budget). Would purchasing this psu and cable work, or do I need a mixer? In the instance that I need a mixer, which is affordable and reliable? Thanks.
  5. I have an old laptop that I use for internet browsing (windows 10). At night, I have it on sleep mode and the screen shut. However, the laptop turns on randomly and the fans start spinning loudly. Should I be worried (has happened a lot over the past few months)? Is there a possibility that someone might be hacking me? Thanks
  6. So I'm thinking of selling my Asus R9 270x. If I sell it for $200 CAD, would that be a sellable price? If not, what do you recommend pricing the card at?
  7. Here is my problem. My gaming PC is on the second floor of my house. My Xbox is in the basement. Due to personal, complicated reasons, my router is on the second floor with my PC. I only get 15-20mbps connection in the basement while upstairs I get a solid 150mbps connection. I need to somehow get a solid connection to the basement without moving my router or drilling in holes, etc. I would like to spend no more than $30-40. If someone can find an easy fix, it would be highly appreciated. Thanks.
  8. I turned off the malware part of adblock and youtube worked. I turned malware protection back on and youtube has continued working. Does it mean I have malware?
  9. I am, I've been running Malwarebytes and Kaspersky for a bit now. Has this happened to anyone before?
  10. I went on the weird website where they sold acrylic glass. Then after I visited that website I can't access youtube unless I disable adblock. Plus my youtube location got set to India. What is going on?
  11. On the NZXT Phantom full tower case, there are two fan slots on one of the side panels. I would like to do a case mod for the phantom but I don't want the two fans there. Do I need them?
  12. How do I fix this? I cant even uninstall it for some reason
  13. The problem consists, I've run 2 more tests and one of them detected malware for razerchroma sync. Now I'm getting a bit worried
  14. It was the official site, I looked in my search history and the URL was the same as any other Razer page.
