It's faster, might last longer. Not worth it IMO, unless you edit 4k footage or something. Note that the speed is only apparent in heavy load tasks, like 4k editing.

64 bit machine crashes when more than 4GB RAM is used
HPWebcamAble replied to joel99sworld's topic in Troubleshooting
Run a RAM test -
Probably not, but you can always replace the button cell battery just to check. If the PSU and PB are good, (and all cables are plugged in correctly) it's likely your MOBO
-
Wow, nice build! Almost perfect, except... That PSU isn't very good quality. Look into the EVGA G2 series. 550W is plenty (you could go 650W but it'll be more expensive for almost no benefit)

Harddisk Error. Need Help
HPWebcamAble replied to Mr.Gweini | YT | CSGOHOUSE.COM's topic in Storage Devices
Welcome to the forums! Is your HDD making any strange noises? How old is it? What manufacture? Can you check the SMART data on the drive? You'll need a program like crystaldiskinfo -
Woops, kinda hard to tell when MSI has to move the ports all over the place. Yeah, the GAMING 5 has 2 extra USB 2.0 ports

Samsung EVO 850 500GB high temperature?
HPWebcamAble replied to papaconas's topic in Storage Devices
Mine usually sits around 32 C, but 42 C isn't bad. Your ambient temp is probably higher. -
Heh, good point Eh, what ports? They have identical IO from what I saw Which one? (I like the Krait better because of the color scheme but it's up to you of course) I'd get the z97, you don't save a ton (maybe $50 at the extreme). Although, the 4790k would be the best CPU you could get, which isn't a huge improvement over the 4770 (unless you overclock the 4790k)
-
It's a different one. Which is more expensive than the one you had. I don't know why @The Realist picked a more expensive one I've got the Z97 Krait, it's a great MOBO. You could go for a cheaper H or B chipset MOBO since your CPU can't be overclocked.

Need help with a problem 'Stopped Driver'
HPWebcamAble replied to Cylinder's topic in Troubleshooting
Uninstall it with Display Driver Uninstaller. Try not running it in dual graphics mode too, that might be part of the problem. -
I believe that's just about as fast as the 6100 (factoring in generational differences and clock speed). But in the future that limits you to the older platform. I'd go skylake. Up to you I suppose. Another option would be waiting a bit longer and saving a bit more to get a 6500, 6600k or even 6700(k)
