  1. So I have an ASUS MAXIMUS VIII EXTREME Mobo, and the audio out on the back panel shit out, which is what I was using for my speakers. The audio out on the front panel of the tower is working fine, but I use that for my headsets. I have tried updating the drivers to see if that'd fix it, but, unfortunately, it didn't. Should I buy a whole new sound card so that I can power my speakers from the back of my PC? Or should I get a amp/dac to drive my headphones (Sennheiser HD6XX) and just put my speakers to the front? Please leave a suggestion on what to do and a product to buy. Thank you.
  2. Is there such thing? If so, where and how?
  3. So I am getting the MassdropxSennheiser HD 6XX headphones, which are rated at 300 ohms. However, I need a AMP/DAC (not sure which one) that can power the headsets and can plug into my PC. Also, I would prefer it to have a input for my Antlion Modmic 5 as well. Any suggestions? The max I'm willing to pay is $150, possibly $200, so sorry Creative Sound Blaster X7.
  4. The mic didn't come with any drivers. Or are you suggesting on board sound drivers?
  5. I just got a Modmic 5 to replace my Modmic 4. Any time I am on Discord and I use the physical mute switch on the mic, my voice input gets cut off, but instead of no audio output from my end to everyone else on the server, it causes whatever anyone else is saying on the server to echo out essentially. It did this with my Modmic 4 as well, but I could never figure out how to fix it. Any ideas on how to fix this/what could be causing this?
  6. I have the 27" one and it is phenomenal. The 24" one is really good as well, but personally, I like the increase in screen real estate and thought it was worth the increase in price. Also, G-Sync is a plus.
  7. I use the Logitech G502. In my opinion, its a all around good mouse. The only thing is is that it is a wired mouse. I know you said you wanted to use it with your laptop, and presumably on the go, so if you are okay with a wired mouse like that. If you don't want a wired mouse, I would recommend the Logitech MX Master. It is a phenomenal Bluetooth and was my daily mouse, until I got the G502, since it has more customization for gaming.
  8. I have a Asus Maximus VIII Extreme mobo (link below), and I was thinking about getting a hi-fi headset that is rated at 300 Ohms. Any way to find out if my mobo can support it/figure out how many Ohms my mobo can support? https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813132637R&cm_re=Asus_Maximus_Extreme_VIII-_-13-132-637R-_-Product
  9. Haha. Yeah. Not really sure what I did? I guess it just fixed itself for now. Thanks for the help guys!
  10. I have reinstalled graphics drivers, as well as updated them. When I unplugged the BenQ, and tried the Dell, it worked fine. And when I plugged the BenQ back in, the Dell didn't resort back to the issue again, and is working fine now? Idk. This is very strange and I have never had this issue before with any PC I've had.
  11. When I unplug the BenQ fully, it does not seem to have an issue.
  12. Audio is coming from my Logitech Z533 speakers through the audio jack on the back of the mobo.
