I don't have a Samsung, but it might be similar. When my mobile is connected to my PC then an option called "USB Preferences" shows up under "Connected Devices". Check those preferences, if they are there or somewhere else in your options, to see whether or not your phone is set to allow data transfer through USB. I just found out that this only shows up im my options if I'm connected to a PC via USB or if I specifically type it into the search box. Mildly infuriating.

Do you want one monitor or multiple? Monitor, mouse and keyboard are preferential . Let's count, correct me, like 500$ for a decent monitor (cheapest 144hz 1440p i found was 450$) and about 200-300$ if you went for a better mouse+mechanical keyboard combo. Leaving 1900-2000$ for the pc.

I cant boot windows or even the bios on this new system I boot

So it keeps starting up and shutting down? Try only one of the ram dimms at a time/or another one if you have one lying around. As firelighter said, check the cpu power connector. Also maybe check the user manual for the motherboard if you need to use a specific ram slot -
Thanks for the reply! Checked it out and found they have some neat stuff there but the switches are slightly more expensive and I would probably get them in a months time best case scenario.

Hi folks! In short, is mechanicalkeyboards.com my best bet to order switches? Do you know of a store located in Europe, or maybe even Germany that sells these too? I kinda wonder because I know these things come from here, but I can't seem to find them being sold here if that makes sense. What I want to do is to "switch" out(haha, solder out) a couple of my keyboards switches, like 2 pieces, but I'll probably buy like 5-10. Change my black for brown ones in specific. I'm trying to reduce the shipping absurdity/cost of that order. Thanks!

Ok, and I do have a i5 4590 lying around. How does it compare to the i5 6500? -

On that note, you would recommend going with a Nvidia card on this budget? -

Hey guys! I'm building this for someone else. I have max 1000€ to work with, of which I need to spend about 150-200€ on a Monitor, which leaves me with 800€ for the PC. I'm aiming at pulling out the best performance for this budget, looks are a tertiary concern. What do you think about this? As long as it doesnt hit the ceiling. 46°C is still relatively cool

Can I get an opinion on this? New to building pc's!
Akikai replied to Mesto's topic in New Builds and Planning
I would recommend a 240 SSD too. Also, 2x4GB instead of 1x8GB, you can do 4x4GB for a total 16GB in the future. 500W PSU makes it easier to use in the future if you will upgrade. -
You could probably go down with the RAM, go down with that Mobo, and get W10. If you are part of the W10-hate-train...then you have my sincerest condolences.
