  1. "Update" on my server. Switching out the DVB-C with a Quad DVB-C (on the way) to watch different channels on up to 4 devices at the same time. TVheadend and Softcam is at lest up an running, and I love the result of it, TV anywhere the recoding feature and everything about Tvheadend! :)
  2. Yes, I'm Norwegian :P How did you know? Where have you seen me? And from you speed I guess you are an Verizon FIOS customer? And then American? :P
  3. So my good friend RandomNOOB told me to post here and beat him  My Home Server Total Theoretical Storage: 50 TB Rack Chassie: Supermicro SC846TQ-R1200B, 4U 24-bay Hot-swappable Drive Bays, Redundant PSU, 1200W gold certified (Supermicro MCP-210-84601-0B front panel for physical security.) Motherboard: Supermicro X8ST3-F Rev 2.0 (BTW, don't use the SAS controller at that board, it fucking sucks) CPU: Intel Xeon UP W3670 3.20 GHz Hexacore. Memory: KINGSTON 24GB 1333MHZ DDR3 ECC CL9 DIMM SATA Handeling: IBM ServeRAID M1015 flashed to LSI9211-IT mode and a HP SAS Expander (green edition) for distrubution. Hard drives: For OS I use SAMSUNG Spinpoint MP4 HM250HJ 250GB 7200 RPM Storage: XFS RAID6 10x Samsung 2TB F4EG (5400 rpm) XFS RAID6 10x Seagate Barracuda ST3000DM001 3TB S-ATA3 (7200 rpm) The systems runs Debian 5.0 at the moment and I am planning too do a fresh install soon, since I've made it so messy since I'm a noob and stuff :P No battery backup (yet, any recommendations?) Also have CX4 10 GbE on it running to mainswitch and I have a 2x 10 GbE LC Fiber card in it aswell, I only use one of these ports with a private lane to my gaming rig, I don't connect the gaming rig to the mainswitch with 10 GbE CX4 because it's too far away for a CX4 cable to hold, also the cables are way to thick and I would get problems getting the cable there. Also have a DVB-C card in it and I'm planning to use it as a IPTV server in the future, I just haven't had the time to set it up yet.
