  1. no, there isn't it had a pre applied thermal paste covered with a plastic protecting it, I removed it, cleaned it and used my own thermal grizzly kryonaut.
  2. I've tightened the screws to the point where it's pretty much impossible to move them, while trying really hard, they moved very slightly, but still no difference.
  3. yea, me too, I put about half a pea sized blob, maybe a bit more than half on the 2nd one about 60% I would say, because I was wondering if I maybe put too little, it's hard to describe how it looked, it looked like it made a contact to me, because the 1st time that I applied was pretty thin if you would say the size of a pea blob then it was maybe around 40% of it, altho the lower side of the cpu seemed to make less of contact I think.
  4. I spread it all over the cpu with the included idk how to call it "thing" and I was wondering about the same thing before, so I removed it to check if there's a good contact and from what I've seen it made a contact with the cpu, because the paste was on the cooler, pretty much whole cpu made a contact with it.
  5. The tubes felt slightly warm, it showed liquid temp 34C after some time of running aida 64. do u mean spinning sound? if that's what it is yeah, there's something spinning inside of it, yes.
  6. I got 3 intake fans in front, I'm pretty sure it's fine.
  7. I used to have Hyper 212 EVO for quite some time now and just recently bought NZXT Kraken x62, installed it yesterday and was really hyped untill I opened aida64 and then I was beyond disappointed, it gave me the same if not worse results than my 212 evo. I turned off my pc, checked everything, reapplied a new thermal paste, btw I used thermal grizzly kryonaut, which is one of the best pastes on the market I heard. So here I am after testing it again I maybe get a bit better results, but it's not good, I literally get the exact same temps with 212 evo with the same overclock, there's no way this is right, I'm out of ideas on what's wrong. I mounted it at the top and the fans are pulling air out of the case, through the rad. I have 3 fans in front of my case and 1 140 mm one at the back exhausting. Silent mode vs everything full speed barely gives better results.
  8. That didn't help, I've tried unplugging every cable and removing ram, graphics card, but the issue is still there.
  9. So, all settings are stock, except xmp is on and I've tested with off and on, same shit, it worked for ~ a month or two perfectly fine after building, but suddenly when I turn off my pc now and then the next time I want to turn it on my GPU fans start spinning @ 100% and I have a black screen that says display port no signal and pc isn't booting. It boots perfectly if I shut down power supply and then turn it on again then there's no problem, so what's the issue, how can I fix this anyone know maybe? Bios version is 0906, I updated it from version 06** something something can't remember. Here are the specs: MB: Asus Strix Z270H CPU: i7 7700K /w hyper 212 evo RAM: Corsair Vengeance lpx 16GB 3000mhz GPU: Asus Strix GTX 960 PSU: Corsair RMx 650W SSD: Samsung 850 evo 500gb HDD: WD Black 500gb CASE: NZXT h440
  10. CPU: Phenom II x2 555 BE Unlocked to Phenom II x4 B55 3.4GHz GPU: STRIX GTX 960 2GB OC 1433mhz RAM: HyperX Black 2x4GB 1600mhz
  11. It's off and it makes no sense it should cap @ 75 even if it's on.
  12. Hello, so I was running some older games like WC 3, Borderlands, Assassin's creed II and I noticed that my fps are locked @ 60fps while with my older card GTS 250 I could get even higher fps. My monitor is 75hz and vsync is off in games and "use application settings" in drivers, I tried to set power mode to maximum performance in drivers but that didn't help. I have latest drivers. Newer games running fine and there are no cap for them. Is there a way I could remove that cap? Even if I turn on vsync my fps stays at 60 instead of 75.
