  1. Ehh... Fuckit. Paperclip time. EDIT: It worked! Now to shamelessly advertise my other problems: My PC often gets stuck on the 'loading windows' screen. (Win7, on ssd with hdd for extre storage). The only was to get past it is to force-shutdown and try again Any ideas?
  2. Yes, I am unplugging everything and re-plugging everything. What's weird is that the computer boots like it is fine. The debug LED shows AO, or that the sata is activated, like normal. The lights on the gpu all turn on as well.
  3. Specs: 780 classified 4700K CPU Maximus vi extreme Here is an interesting problem that I have been having: Day 1: Build computer Computer works Day 52: Add liquid cooling loop FORGET TO ADD NON-CONDUCTIVE STRIP THAT COMES WITH 780 classified Works Morning 53: Turn PC on, no video. Take waterblock off of gpu, put back on stock cooler works Day 163 (Today): Decide to put water loop back in, figure what is wrong (takes >5 hours) Remember to put in non-conductive strip No video I tested each piece of hardware individually. The GPU has no output only when the waterblock (EKWB Classy block) and backplate are installed. What the shit.
  4. Thanks. I'll try next week. Hopefully it works!
  5. I was really exited for my first water cooled build, and I set everything up, leak-tested it for 8 hours, and then fired the system up. The first day I had my system I played a bit of Titanfall beta and everything was running fine, except for one very small leak on the out port on the pump, which only formed a small dropped held by surface tension. The temps never got above 45 C on both the GPU and the CPU while under load. The second day, I booted my pc and... Bluescreen. F#*@ My GPU is the EVGA 780 classified. I overclocked it by 50 mhz on the gpu after watercooling and it ran smoothly. I did no overvolting. OTHER SPECS: CPU - Intel 4770k w/ EKWB waterblock @ 3.9 ghz GPU - EVGA 780 classified w/ EKWB 'classy' block MOBO - Asus Maximus VI gene PSU - Corsair AX 860 RAM - 4x Corsair dominator platinum 2300 mhz 4gb CASE - Corsair Obsidian 350D DRIVES - 1x Samsung 840 pro 250 gb and 1x wd 2tb caviar black WC - 1x slim 240mm rad and 1x 240mm XSPC 240mm rad all with noiseblocker pk-ps fans Upon various pondering, I realized that a strip came with the gpu to put on the VRM/power delivery section of the card to prevent any shorting, and I forgot to put it on. I tested every component, and when I replaced the gpu with a 650 ti, the pc booted fine. I removed the waterblock on the card and put on the stock cooler, but I have not tested it at all for fear that it would blow up something or worsen the problem Is there anything I can do to save the card? Would the card be fine now? Will and RMA be possible? Thanks for the help, guys! EDIT: Pic of the strip:
  6. The stupid $2,700 (USD) sometimes gets stuck on the windows logo while loading the OS. I cannot seem to be able to fix it. It only sometimes happens, and usually after I hear my storage drive read a bit of data. (I am using an SSD mainly)
  7. Thanks! I will probably increase it to around 90 - 100 mW.
  8. Noob question here: So I got the ASUS PCE-AC66 PCI-E Adapter wireless thingy and in the utility that comes with it has a Tx Power Adjustment config setting. The default is 80 mW, and I am about 10 meters away from the router, and behind three walls (corner room). It goes down to 10 mW and up to 200 mW for both the 2.4G and 5G bands. What would the optimum settings be for the wireless adapter?
  9. I just got the CPU, without using this link. How could I get Rome II free as well?
  10. Hi all you helpful guys out there! I have a problem! What it is is that whenever I right click on a windows-related element (desktop, task bar, folder, anything like that - not anything with any other program) The menu appears, but is barely visible like this: And when I mouse over it, it goes fully visible: I also had the preblem when an item in the right-click menu was clicked, the button would hang around on the screen until you restarted the computer, or until you changed the resolution of the monitor (Refreshing the monitor kinda) I was wondering if anybody knows of this problem and is will willing to help me fix it. Thanks, and happy holidays! -Allaboutpc
  11. I am slightly okay with this... First off, I would like you to continue some unboxings. These are what drive the majority of your viewers to bet interested in a product. I bought a corsair 350d after your unboxing of it, and I am going to build an ~$2800 system in it, all from one video. Your unboxings also help smaller companies with little press to get a larger interest in their products. I feel that you should continue to do unboxings, but only with the things you review, and in the same video as the in-depth review of the product. If the product is not worth an in-depth review, then it is not worth an unboxing, and therefor, not worth the press. If you find a cool thingy, but can't do a video on it, tweet it or mention it in the WAN show. -Thanks for reading!
  12. Oh spaghetti monster... I have an 8350 now, and I am planning on getting the 4770k (ninja edit)
