    Actually, yeah what is it that makes motherboards so different in the z97 series and what (for the sake of price) would be the most cost efficient? We have almost the same build except for the Cpu, power supply, case and memory.

    I had a conversation with some guy that told me the z97-k motherboard was better than my z97-a as a new builder I looked up the specs and didn't find much difference between the two please educate me further on this matter, thank you.

    I haven't bought any of the parts yet I'm just trying to learn what will work best for a gaming board that can edit music and videos while still being able to record do you have any suggestions? I was looking at the intel 6700k core processor. What motherboard do you suggest?

    Hello, I am a new builder and wanted to do a big build when I was a bit more comfortable and was wondering if my franenstein of a formula would work what I was planning on using was Noctua NH-D14 6 Dual Heatpipe with ASUS ROG MAXIMUS VII FORMULA LGA1150 DDR3 M.2 ACWiFi USB 3.0 Intel Z97 ATX Motherboard, Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB 2x8GB DDR3 2400MHz PC3 19200 Desktop, Red, 2 EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti ACX SC+ ACX 2.0+ Graphics Card with Backplate, Corsair AX1500i 1500 Watts ATX 12V/EPS 12V Power Supply with Titanium Efficiency and NZXT Phantom 820 Full Tower Chassis with RGB Color Changing Lights and Fan Control CA-PH820-M1, Matte Black with 2 2tb ssd cards would this work or should I try something else?
