  1. Hey guys, first off thanks heaps for this giveaway and a huge congratulations on this amazingly large milestone. Good luck with your next goal of 4 million! I would love to win the Razor stealth as i will be starting Uni next year and will be an amazing help =D. I would prefer the stealth as currently i do have a gaming desktop and just need something light to focus more towards light Uni graphics work and just general everyday use. Will definitely be supporting all the sponsors, if i am not already. Stay awesome boys, and thanks heaps for this opportunity.
  2. Alright thanks for reply, should be all set to order the computer tomorrow. I think i might stick with MSI due to power consumption. I am deeply thankful for the help and will probably order the parts tomorrow. Thanks again for the time and effort put into helping me =D
  3. If i get the 390 it'd be MSI. Since drives for almost all things that connect to your PC (rather than the disk that comes with it) can be downloaded online is the main reason i'm fine with a case like S340. So to answer my final main question, is the MSI Twin Frozr V enough alone along with stock case fans) to keep my PC quiet, enough, and cool during gameplay?
  4. Alright cool thank you very much, i'm almost 100% tempted to switch over to the 390. Since i will be rendering the extra 4GB of VRam will help. If i am not overclocking will the stock fans of the S340 case and the Twin Frozr V Fans, Heat Sink etc. be enough to keep my cpu/gpu system cool? Same question for the 970 which is probably a pointless question since i imagine the 390 to be hotter anyway. (Final Question, Promise!) Looks like S340 Case it is aswell, shame it has no driver panels but i can't think of anything that requires a DVD/Blu-Ray writer ATM.
  5. I see, thank you very much, 390 in high consideration, if i replace nothing except for the GPU from a GTX 970 to a R9 390 everything will still be compatible (Noob Question)? Extra side info is always appreciated and awesome, but if you don't mind i'd also like some response about the cases as, personally, in my mind it is the biggest struggle for me at the moment in these final stages of finalizing and ordering my parts. Thanks again for the input =D
  6. So basically all cases, as long as they fit the size of the graphics card, will work absolutely fine and its just down to personal taste of features and looks etc? None of these cases are better in terms of cooling, dust filtering, cable management, space etc? Since this is my first gaming build i want to be 100% sure that i'm getting the best i possibly can and have 0 complaints when i receive everything. In regards to the 390, it has been a very frequent brought up subject when talking to others and the reason for the 970 rather than the 390 is that they're both the same (have seen the 970 out-perform the 390 though) at 1080p and below. I will be playing at 1080p so i decided to go for the GPU i think looks better, Thankyou for your input though, much appreciated. The motherboards listed were in mind but are not available through pc case gear so i decided on using the B150 K4. If there really is no need to choose a case based on specifications and rather visual features than that saves me a ton of time and is a huge help, but i personally think, which could be wrong, that out of these cases one would outshine the others, hopefully by a significant margin. Once again thank you for your time to make a comment and fast reply to such a long and probably boring post.
  7. Hi all, Recently, after a lot of changing and "can't make up my mind mindsets", i have finally finalized the parts i wish to use in my gaming computer build. Since i am one to easily change opinions on things i decided that while i am changing my parts i may as well see if there are any other cases that are within the same price range as my currently selected case that are better value/quality. First of all, I am Australian and will only be using this site and their available cases for my build: https://www.pccasegear.com/category/25 I have browsed through the list of cases and have chosen 3 that fit within the price range of $0-$125. 4 Cases will be listed below, 1 case being the originally selected case, while the other 3 being the ones i picked out from pccg. It would be awesome if you guys could help me decide which one out of these 4 cases best suited for my build (listed below). Before I list the cases it would probably help you guys if i listed the parts going into it, to make it easier for you guys to check compatibility, etc. The parts include: -MSI GeForce GTX 970 4G GPU: https://www.pccasegear.com/products/29086 -Intel Core i5 6600 CPU: https://www.pccasegear.com/products/33191 -ASRock Fatal1ty B150 Gaming K4 Mobo: https://www.pccasegear.com/products/33796 - Corsair Vengeance LPX CMK8GX4M2A2133C13 8GB (2x4GB) DDR4 RAM: https://www.pccasegear.com/products/33224 - Seasonic G-650 80+ Gold 650W PSU: https://www.pccasegear.com/products/21503 -Seagate Barracuda ST2000DM001 2TB 3.5" HDD: https://www.pccasegear.com/products/19554 -Samsung 850 EVO 250GB 2.5" SSD: https://www.pccasegear.com/products/30448 Thanks for sticking with me, sorry for the extremely long post, Now for the Cases: 1St and Original case i was going to pick, Aerocool Strike-X Advance Black Edition: https://www.pccasegear.com/products/20996 -Chose this case as the person helping me build it suggested it, does't look very nice but i honestly don't really care about looks. -Is currently sold out on the site i'm using to purchase it, so i am thinking about changing the case rather than waiting for it to come back in stock. 2nd Case, Corsair Carbide 400R: https://www.pccasegear.com/products/18306 -I saw it had good cable management and has driver panels at the front if i eventually want to add a Blu-Ray Writer. 3rd Case, NZXT S340: https://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=28904&cPath=547&utm_source=googlebase&utm_medium=cse&utm_campaign=export_feed#googlebase -I really like the look of the case and its simplicity. Does not have driver panels at the front (not a very big deal as i am not thinking about installing one at this point in time) -It has a window which is always a nice addition. -Has good cable management and also has stands on the bottom. 4th Case, Aerocool Aero-500: https://www.pccasegear.com/products/33933 -Has Driver Panels, 1x USB 3.0 and 2x USB 2.0 rather than 2 x USB 3.0 on the other cases (can't decide whether i like more usb ports or not). -A Fan Controller on top which i really like the idea of. Once again i am very sorry for the long post and i really do appreciate any help or insight on this matter. Case suggestions other than the ones listed above are welcome as i am not the smartest person when it comes to case selection.
  8. Thanks again everybody for their extremely fast help. Clearly the 3rd option is a better choice. I'm only making one change and that is to change the PSU to a Seasonic G-650 Gold+ which will cost me an extra $30~ which i will gladly pay. So here's the winner: - Aerocool Strike-X Advance Black Case - Seasonic G-650 Gold 80+ PSU - Kingston Hyper FuryX DDR3 RAM Blue (2x4) - Seagate ST2000DM001 HDD 2TB - Samsung 850 EVO 250GB SSD - Intel Core i5 4690 - MSI GeForce GTX 970 - MSI H97 Gaming 3 Motherboard Thanks again for all the help and comments. Words can not even describe how happy i am with the extremely fast responses. Feel free to continue to comment on this as i am not ordering it until tomorrow and will be checking frequently for any valuable information anyone provides. Also future replies may help someone else out in a similar situation =D. Thanks again and have a lovely afternoon.
  9. https://www.pccasegear.com/products/21503 This is the only Seasonic PSU the person im getting the parts through is able to attain at the same price, all the other seasonic PSU's will be overpriced by $20-$40~ Would this be compatible and sufficuient enough (would rather not spend anymore than $20 extra)
  10. With the R9 390 apparently it's only better at higher resolutions and when it comes down to l1080p or less 970 is slightly better with frames and temperature. Just what i heard from Australian reviews
  11. When you say all are question PSU's do you also mean the 3rd example as it isnt a pre-build and its the PSU recommended by a family memeber who owns a IT company.
  12. Just to clarify some things, these 3 PC's are set in stone, changes are highly unlikely due to how i am going to obtain them (through a family members company). I am from AUSTRALIA haha have seen some confusion about that. Was originally not going to state that in the topic but then thought otherwise in case people started posting US sites etc. Finally the 3rd Example is a compilation of parts i found online through about 4 months of research (i could get cheaper and better but like i said previously due to how i'm obtaining them, which is the safest way to get them, i will not be changing the parts of the 3rd PC example. Thankyou everyone for your contribution and time and the extremely fast responses. I have been running around all day to local stores asking about pre-builts and to come home and post this and within minutes get replies really makes my day awesome =D
  13. TBH i dont like ordering from Amazon due to a lot of bad experiences, so far only going to order from Pccg, CPL, Scorptec or pickup parts from a local MSY. Thanks for your input though.
  14. As previously explained in another post the 3rd option parts are set in stone as i am getting them through a family members company.
