  1. Thanks for the responses guys! I'm mostly using it for playing games on high-medium settings at 1080p. Current monitor is a BenQ RL2455, could upgrade that monitor at some point to maybe 1440p. My first choice was to up the ram along with a new gpu, would you guys recommend those rtx cards or would those just not work well with the current specs I have and just stick to the gtx series. Was thinking about switching over to ryzen maybe like a 3600, 16 gigs ram, b450 tomahawk max, 2060 super or a 5700/5700 XT, but since you guys are saying my cpu is still relevant near the end of 2019 might just keep it and hold off a bit longer. I currently have 8 gigs @Ehmc130
  2. Built this rig way back in 2012, Was wondering which route to take, completely upgrade the main components(CPU,Mobo,Ram and GPU) or upgrade the ram to 16GB along with a new GPU? Would it be better to upgrade the gpu now or wait until next year when the new intel cpus come out, would those benefit more from my ivy bridge? any advice would be gladly appreciated thanks!
  6. Thanks for the responses =3 I should just sell my ram and just get some 2x4gb of ram running at 1600 mhz I was also consider getting another ssd, a 250gb samsung evo. Not sure if i need a new case but who knows I may change my mind. I kinda wanna get a 780 lightning but i might wait for a price drop again when nvidia announces the 800 series lol.
