  1. arent you guys talking about the 2420g? At least thats the only one I remember having gsync from benq . Anyway about the colors, Im ok with tn panel colors as Ive only had tn panels until now and I like its colors but for some reason a lot of 144hz panels have washed out colors and its hard to find a 144hz with good enough colors and contrast.
  2. yeah, g-sync at this point is not important considering how much it costs but Id love a monitor like the one you mentioned but with better color/contrast
  3. at least in portugal there are no stores selling it anywhere
  4. LOL fake or not, Ive dealt with people like this and you re ridiculous if you actually think that buying prebuild overpriced pcs will give you unlimited perfomance
  5. So i was to pull the trigger on so many monitors that I lost count... now that I finally decided to go with the lg24gm77 I discovered its discontinued... so I'm back to zero... I need a new monitor at least until the end of the week and I have no idea what to get. My budget is around 300-400$ and it must be a 144hz. Of course Id love a monitor with g-sync but the closest at my price range was the aoc 2460g and based on some reviews, the colors and contrast aren't that great. I know that you can't expect much from a tn panel but there are tn panels with good enough colors like the one I was going for. Right now I have no idea what to go for so Id apreciate some help.
  6. yeah the price isnt exactly friendly if it was an ips monitor I would consider it but being a tn...
  7. So I know tn panels aren't that famous when it comes to colors but are there any tn panels with those specs that have good colors and contrast? And if not whats an ips alternative?
  8. I've also read somewhere that the higher the mhz the more unstable the ram is or something like that... is DDR4 Ram suscebtible to such issues ?
  9. So I've been asking a few things about a new rig I'm building and thanks to all the help I've been recieving around here, it's almost complete. Now on to hopefully the last question. I was about to buy DDR4 memory, when I found this Dimm 8GB DDR4 Kingston CL14 2133Mhz HyperX Fury Black - 69,90€ Dimm 8GB DDR4 Kingston CL15 2300Mhz HyperX Fury Black - 69,90€ I'd apreciate if someone could explain to me, why are they both at the same price despite the second one having more mhz and which one should I choose? My instinct tells me to go with the one with higher mhz but there must be a catch right?
  10. Went to nzxt's website and from what I've seen the 980ti can't fit in there considering it has a length of 309mm... can someone confirm this?
  11. So I just got a 980ti and I'm wondering if there'll be interference between the new gpu and the soundcard that I have (asus xonar dg)
  12. seems the like the psu is enough after all... I was just wondering as for some reason I was told Id needed a 750W psu to oc a 980ti
  13. good to know, is there anyway to see how much power your psu is using?
  14. yeah despite not knowing much about psus and such, 800W is easily overkill for a single gpu setup
  15. Wondering if there is a case similiar to the s340. Something simplistic, with a side window and along the same price
  16. Will ocing a CPU like the 6700k require a lot of power from the psu. I have a 980ti and a 6700k with a seasonic M12 620W and Im afraid if I oc the cpu I might overload the psu
  17. no diference in gaming (my main focus) and almost double the price from where im from
  18. Thinking of getting this as it has ddr3 support and a z170 chipset. Is it any good? How does it perform for slight cpu overclocking ?
  19. I might give it a shot on the cpu maybe... don't know if I should oc the gpu though :\ thanks for the suggestions but I already bought the seasonic 620W, it was at a perfect price point and avaliable in a shop nearby (mostly why I got it) I'm happy with it as long as it gets the job done
  20. Was doing some research on CPU coolers and as of now I'm seconds away to buy the hyper 412S. Seems like a great cooler, only issue IMO is that they are so big so I'm wondering are there smaller equivalent coolers? Just questioning this out of curiosity as for now I'm focused on buying the 412S
  21. I'm minutes away to buy this case to combine with a 980ti but I heard its a small case... so will it be enough?
  22. i see, so lets say I buy a 6700k but instead of having a z170 chipset mobo I have a B150 which doesnt let me use the multiplier... how much would I be able to oc it? Im not really into oc, just asking out of curiosity
