  1. Hello! I have had a dell xps 9370 for about 4 years and its recently had a problem with entering sleep mode. I close the screen at 70% and by the morning its at 10%. I have both a battery report and a SleepStudy screenshot. It's these ridiculous screen off, sleep loops that are killing it, and it has hibernate turned off. I have no clue what could be wrong, I've changed the power settings but nothing has helped so far. Any recommendations or ideas would be more than helpful.
  2. I5 4670k R9 390 WD blue ssd 8 gb gskill ram Windows 10 pro Msi g45 gaming mobo And thats what I'm having problems with, the desktop discord crashes on startup.
  3. I have looked for it, but i cant find a download for anything but the most recent version on their site, if you had a link for older versions that would be really helpful
  4. So I've recently got into using discord to talk to my friends when playing games but I always have to run it through my browser because of this weird problem. Whenever I start discord it will run and open on my main page, then crash and never get past the loading to open. I thought it was a problem with my boot drive where it is installed and I ended up needing to replace it after bringing it to a computer shop for a diagnostic, but the problem still persists after replacing the drive. I've looked on other forums and the methods of deleting roaming files and other stuff just hasn't worked for me, does anyone have any suggestions? I'm thinking maybe a bios flash or update might help but if anyone has any suggestions I'd try that first.
  5. Hello everyone I was wondering what suggestions anyone would have for making a home theater pc quieter. Its in the fractal design node 605 and its only noisey when running games but i have replaced the stock fans with an nf-p12 on the exhaust through a coolermaster 120mm rad and the intake fans with cougar vortex. Im guessing adjusting my fan curve might help but im not sure how to do that (msi motherboard if you need to know the bios) and any other tips and tricks would definitely be helpful, thanks.
  6. If you want a great pair of budget headphones do not over look the Superlux hd 681 Evo's. ive been using them for two months and they are the greatest sound experience ive ever had. note they are open back which obviously means sound leaks but they have such a clear soundstage and response i dont think they can be beat at their price range
  7. when im running games the exhaust fan starts to get loud and the intakes are pretty loud in general i can hear them sitting on my couch 3 meters away
  8. Just had this exact same issue and i went with the 390 and i do not regret my decision at all. It does admittedly run hot but that should not be a problem at all if you have good airflow and at 1080p ive been able to max out any game i through at it and even 1440p runs without a hitch. if you play nvidia geared games like assassins creed you might have to turn down settings just because of driver issues but thats totally fine and ive been gaming upwards of 2 hours a day on this card and seeing absolutely no problems. go with the r9 390
  9. This is the roundup im using :http://us.hardware.info/reviews/5770/103-12cm-case-fans-review
  10. I have been using this: http://us.hardware.info/reviews/5770/103-12cm-case-fans-review%C2'> to make my decision on three case fans to cool a fractal design node 605 htpc case with a r9 390 inside and a 120 mm coolermaster seidon all in one on the exhaust. i believe i have narrowed the choice to the cougar vortex, the nff12's or the enermax twister pressure and i was wondering if there was a definite winner among those three or if there is another option i havent considered yet.
  11. I considered the nff12's but i also looked at the enermax twister pressure and the enermax seems to have a better price to performance ratio
  12. Its the node 605 and it has two 120mm intakes forward on the left and right and on the back left theres one 120mm mount for exhaust and on the very back of the case theres two 80mm mounts I currently have the stock, silent series r2 fans for intake and the coolermaster blade fan as exhaust through the radiator
  13. I5 4670k, msi r9 390, fractal design node 605 and coolermaster seidon 120 mm all in one
  14. I just upgraded my computer with an r9 390 which is a very hot card. Im looking for new fans and i was wondering what the best 120mm fans are. I want to keep the system fairly quiet but my priority is to get two airflow optimized fans and one pressure optimized for my all in one
