in the box it says simulated sine wave......do I need to get ups with more VA?

so I bought a 1250VA(Kstar brand) ups to go with my gtx 970 and CM v750 but everytime my pc is on heavy load like playing games and there's a brownout my ups just won't give backup (pc turns off and restarts)...sometimes it gives me 15 seconds sometimes no time at all to turn off my pc properly...what could be the problem here?

from bangladesh(Itty bitty little country beside india) and I'm willing to spend as far as the V750 goes so it's like 100 usd plus shipping and tax/vat

so will the V550 one do nicely for overclocking? and it won't cause any problems? Johnny guru reccommends the V750 but can't find a 550 one!

Would really like to know if the V750 will do the job stable!
