  1. Thanks Lurick, TofuHaroto and Fluvous. with those tips ill keep it as is until i purchase a new heat sink. My old watercooler didnt have the proper mounts for AM4 and had a leak. Or the next time in in the pc ill clean up the cables a bit and add that 4 pin. if its safe then why not eh.
  2. Hello, I recently upgraded my PC with a costume side panel. I reused a lot from my old PC. Old pc: -AMD FX-8320 -MSI 970 Gaming motherboard -16GB DDR3 -Geforce GTX 1070 -SSD to boot from /HDD Storage. New PC: -Ryzen 9 3900x -ASRock x570 Tacichi -32 GB DDR4 -Geforce GTX 1070 -Corsair Force MP600 M.2 2280 1TB PCI-Express Gen 4.0 Everything came together and works perfectly. My question is "should i use both 8 pin and 4 pin on the CPU for power? I am currently only using the 8 pin and everything is running as expected. Just curious because its the first motherboard i've owned with more then just a 4 pin for CPU power. Thank you.
  3. oh snap, i was under the impression they were reliable. Honestly before this I've always bought the least expensive whatever was in shop PSU. oddly enough when i think back on it the problems with PC have been dying hardrives and PSU's. ill heed the warning.
  4. Thanks dude, im gonna look further into the 710+. Part of me needs a Number pad though. I might miss it haha. even the laptops I have own over the years had Number pads. I feel i might end up regretting it. even though I'm no accountant and don't run numbers. The only benefit i see is space and comfort. I am a very tall gent and the addition of a number pad isn't a hindrance. Though id like to try it out.
  5. The g710+ Looks badass. Props to asiancorruption for that post. broadened my understanding of MX swithches. video from tech syndicate? Red would be the best for me. not subed but seen him. I am used to a mushy keyboard so a modest mechnical increase would be out of this world for me. Please Explain why My PSU is unsatifactory. Keeping in mind i was going for Inexpensive and reliable. im interested?
  6. Ages ago i bought a G15 logitech keyboard and G9 logitech mouse for a computer i bought when i was younger to game with friends, when wow was taking off. The keyboard and mouse have fought a good battle. Specifically the mouse (Logitech G9). All my accessories have been Logitech. Fan boy a little here. Recently bought a logitech gaming headset the G230. Not disappointed but not blown away. so my faith in logitech as been constant not to mention the surround sound I've been rocking for ages from them... ok enough about logitech. I need a new keyboard. Out of all the logitech toys i have ... gotta say the G15 keyboard needs replacement. Since purchase ages ago I've come sorta aware of what i have and whats best (thanks Linus). Over the years this boy fought the good fight, i have completely dissembled the keyboard and cleaned it numerous times. you know sometimes with accidents you really have to. To the point i built my first PC (budget) a couple months ago. Build as follows: - BenQ XL2411 (monitor) - Case fractal Design R4 - MSI 970 Motherboard - G.Skill Ripjaws 4GBx4 (DDR3 1866) - AMD FX-8320 Vishera 8-core 3.5GHz (4.0 GHx Turbo) - MSI R9 380 4GB - Samsung 850 Evo 250GB - Kingston V300 120GB - Corsair CX series CX500 500 watt Built this PC for bang for buck. The Sticky/Broken G15 needs replacement. This is why I'm looking for help. Peripherals i just grad a brand I trust and go (usually). with keyboards i need a little help. I want to move to a mechanical keyboard. I hear alot of Cherry MX swithches? lets face it. No idea whats going on hear. If a mechanical keyboard can improve response and remove spongy unresponsive keys thats a win. Very much Appreciatte anyhelp.
