  1. Hey, I have a Razer Abyssus 2010 for my mouse, amazing shape, great weight, great sensor, and overall fantastic budget mouse. Corsair K70 Vengeance with Red LEDs. I can't say I'm as big a fan of the Cherry MX reds as I thought I'd be, so I'm aiming for some Blacks in the future. Headset... IEMs by Samsung. No clue what they are really, but I like em. IEMs are nice. Razer Goliathus Large for my mousepad, a little coarse, and sometimes I wonder if I could go bigger... Thanks for the giveaway Guys!
  2. What about 8 cores? Are we gonna have to wait for Dx 16?
  3. Gigabyte GA-970-D3P (http://www.gigabyte....spx?pid=4642#ov) That's my mobo, and all the drivers and such are up to date. I have heard rumours about Win10 giving insane performance boosts, so I guess it's worth a shot here.
  4. Hmmm, only got a 4+2 or 4+1 on my Gigabyte board. Would that be a viable bottleneck? Upgrading my mobo wouldn't be a terrible idea.
  5. But how do i check for motherboard bottlenecks is my question, I don't know the methodology behind it or anything.
  6. Anybody know much about motherboards that can comment on any potential bottlenecking?
  7. Yea i did, that was my first thing, since every thread I could find suggested that.
  8. Yea, sorry bout that, but I have the 660 and he has the 750, just to clarify. And trag1c, just to give some more info, my mother board is the Gigabyte GA-970-D3P (http://www.gigabyte.co.nz/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4642#ov) I head it wasn't the best motherboard for overclocking due to 4+1 Power phase or something, but I got a 1 GHz boost which I thought was great. I also didn't know it was possible for the motherboard to throttle/bottleneck my CPU/GPU. Can someone who knows about motherboards confirm whether my mother board is the problem?
  9. I'm not too sure where the thread, so I'll put it here. I have an AMD FX 8320, and using this benchmark (https://teamfortress.tv/thread/7598/tf2-benchmarks) I can get around 70 fps. But my friend who uses the FX-6300 can get above 70, something like 70-75, with a worse graphics card (GTX 660 SC vs GTX 750) So why are my frames so bad for my hardware? Are they bad for my hardware? Specs: AMD FX 8320 OCed 4.5 GHz GTX 660 SC Windows 7 64-bit If you need more specs, just ask.
