I enjoy playing SC with friends, yes it's not a complete game but it feels like a proper playground to mess around in with new stuff thrown in regularly. It's also so much more stable than it was even 12 months ago. I've had value for money out of it and then some over the past few years.

Remember that much of the performance issues are server side at the moment, so irrespective if your spec it'll hit a limit that's not within your control if the server you are on is under heavy load. It's not going to be like this forever but has been for quite some time. 16GB or slightly less is fine, OS + game loading for most people peaks around 11GB and that's in fairly unoptimised conditions,.

Couldn't bring myself to get either tbh, someone else in my org has a pioneer and I've a feeling the Raven will be out later as a different ship for anyone to get. Prices for the drive are insane in the UK as much as I do need a replacement for my tiny M.2 drive, cost per GB is too much.
