  1. Hi all, I recently built a new computer (parts were purchased in August) and have been running into a couple of issues when playing some games. These issues are (depending on the game) as mentioned in the title (either the screen will go black for a little bit, or the whole computer will freeze and require a hard restart with live kernel events 141 and 117 showing the reliability history). Ive reinstalled the video drivers multiple times, verified RAM with Memtest86, and done multiple burn in tests without issue. Ive looked at the windows minidumps resulting from the live kernel events and they all have the issue of the "nvlddmkm.sys" causing the issue with a TDR recovery error. Here is an example of the black screen flicker https://drive.google.com/file/d/1TbJThXDaXIGM6AVq-Mnfw4hCQRKYryFj/view?usp=sharing Any help is appreciated. Specs: MOBO: Asus ROG Strix B650-A Gaming (2023 Bios Version: 1636) CPU: Ryzen 7 7800X3D (No OC) RAM: 2x16 Kingston FURY Beast DDR5 (CL36, running at 5600 Mhz, EXPO profile 1) GPU: Zotac RTX 4090 Trinity OC (Latest NVIDIA drivers version 546.01) PSU: EVGA 1000W SuperNOVA 80+ Gold OS: Windows 10
  2. Thank you very much, and yes I’ve checked to make sure the fans have enough clearance with the cables. Any feet in particular you would recommend?
  3. Hi all, I have the Lian Li O11 air mini from microcenter that has a glass front instead of the traditional mesh, this thus removes some fans from the traditional configuration. i was thus wondering what would be the best configuration, I currently have a 240mm AIO with 120mm fans on the side of the case in an exhaust configuration, and I’m looking for advice on where to place the rest. I was thinking of doing 2 140mm fans as intake on the bottom of the case, 3 120mm fans as exhaust on the top, and one 120mm fan as exhaust on the back. To me it seems like it has a lot more exhaust than intake, so I was wondering if there was maybe a better configuration of the fans? here is a picture of the case. Thank you all in advance

  6. So In your opinion would you go for a 1060 6GB or the GTX 980?
  7. Ok, thank you. I had looked at 1060 6GB, I was just put off considering that according to this website: http://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-GTX-980-vs-Nvidia-GTX-1060-6GB/2576vs3639 The 1060 6GB is sometimes worse(by a tiny amount compared to the 980).
