It sounds like it would be fine, because it shows as a single drive. Just wasn't sure though, and I tried googling but couldn't find too much on this subject.

Hi All, I am looking to purchase a Samsung Pro 840 256gb SSD, and also 2x 2TB WD Green 64mb and put them in raid 1 (mirror). I will be using the ssd as the boot drive by I was going to partition off some GB so that I could cache the raid 1 array. Is this possible to do? And how much do you recommend taking off the 256gb for caching? Thanks for the replies!! -Willager Z77 platform
